How to Dress in French Style | One Year as a La Redoute Brand Ambassador

How to dress French style | One year as a La Redoute ambassador
Sadly my 12 month La Redoute brand ambassadorship has come to an end, but looking back I have some great outfits that appeared on the blog, as well as wonderful memories of my fantastic Paris trip with the girls from the brand! As promised in my final outfit post as ambassador here is a round up of all the French style outfits I've featured as part of my role - not strictly influenced by what we think of as traditional French necessarily, but French meaning wearing La Redoute either in full or in part.

As a fan of the brand for many years previously it was great to represent them for a whole year, and choosing pieces from their vast range each month was fun but sometimes overwhelming as they have so much choice...! But I have some great key pieces now, and if you look in the details for each outfit a few of them are still available to buy.

So go grab a croissant and a coffee and enjoy "mon année de style français" - let me know your favourite in the comments!

Disclosure: I was a brand ambassador for La Redoute after winning a competition to find two bloggers to represent the brand for 2014-15.  All content is original, however, and opinions are my own and 100% honest.

  1. I love the patchwork jeans and the sheer top. That outfit is just me. By the way, I love those shoes in outfit number 7!

    1. I still that outfit too, hun! And ah, the cut out shoes... they were very popular at the time, too - thank you :))

  2. All great outfits Catherine! You were an awesome ambassador for this company.

Would love for you to stop by & join TBT Fashion link up.

  3. They are all lovely, I love the tapestry coat esp., but outfit 11 is my favourite, the juxtaposition of the blouse with the overalls (um dungarees, I'm American by origin!) just makes for a really chic, cute look! I love the clogs too! I have been hankering for a pair and thought "Hm how do I wear them now I'm no longer twenty?" and you've answered that question (twice - also love the breton and beige combo!) so thank you! You've been a great brand ambassador, I do like La Redoute but find their sizes hit and miss sometimes (a peril with any online outlet really). I am off to look at the dungarees...and the black brogue-(ish?) flats, fab! :-) xo

    1. So many compliments, Steff - you're a sweetheart!!! Thank you thank you! xxx

  4. All these pictures are lovely. What a great year you must have had. Lorraine

    1. It's gone by so fast, Lorraine!!I need another brand to represent now, hehe ;) Thank you my lovely x

  5. Your blue shoe in number 1 are so chic! I am also loving those patched up jeans, great style!

    1. I've had those blue shoes for ages, Melissa, but I still love them!! Thank you sweetie xx

  6. Loving each and every outfit, but you know what I love the most? Your different hairstyles! I'm having my very first link-up blog party on Monday on hair and I would love it if you would link some of your fabulous hairstyles! Stop by if you can - there is a teaser on it on my blog today.

    1. Thank you so much, Mette! I'll try and remember to stop by but it's probably worth tweeting me a reminder @notlamb :))

  7. so many lovely looks, you had a great year with La Redoute and you showcased so many wonderful and unique looks

  8. I'm new to your blog - got here from a google search for 'scuba fabric! Gotta love the interwebs.
Anyway, you've got great style, and I'm drawing some inspiration from this post!

    1. Thanks my lovely, it's nice to "meet" you (though you didn't leave me your name)! Hope to hear from you again soon x

Thank you so much for leaving me a comment! I love reading what you have to say and I'll always do my best to reply. If you have a question why not tweet me @notlamb?
