Tapestry Coat and an Indiana Jones Hat | La Redoute Brand Ambassador Post

Blue tapestry coat, taupe fedora, white skinny jeans
I am so in love with this tapestry coat from La Redoute at the moment.

It’s the perfect piece to just give a hint of spring in this gloomy February (it’s tipping down outside as I write this). Bundled up in my layers of scarf, white skinnies, boots and gloves I’m still plenty toasty in this cold weather.

La Redoute have also done me proud with this taupe fedora: another one for my ever-growing hat collection. Quite apt, seeing as I posted 12 Ways to Wear 4 Classic Hat Styles on Wednesday – the fedora probably being the most classic of them all. Due to the colour, the husband Silver Londoner calls this my Indiana Jones hat, but I’m more than happy with that comparison…!

If you’re lusting after my striped bowler bag that I featured in my giveaway the other week, don’t forget Elvis & Kresse are offering 15% off for Not Dressed As Lamb readers with the code “notlamb”. You too could have your very own unique bag made out of reclaimed fire hoses and parachute silk – I’ve used this bag nearly every day since I got it because I absolutely adore it.

Do you own anything in tapestry? Apart from wearing a loaned vintage tapestry coat to LFW last year I think this is a first for me… I can imagine tapestry skirts would look wonderful. Do let me know in the comments!

Vancouver has been sooo lucky this year as far as winter weather goes, dearest Catherine…I've haven't needed to wear any of my warmest coats more than once or twice!! Still, I would LOVE to add a pretty tapestry coat like your blue and white one to my (modest) collection…it looks so chic with your white jeans, and I know it would be equally awesome with blue jeans, too!! P.S. Speaking of awesome – your Elvis & Kresse bag is definitely ALL THAT!! ;D

Gosh that's unusual for Vancouver, isn't it Monika?! I know you're nowhere near but the north east of the US has had it hard, I'm sure you're much further north…? And I'm so glad about you loving your E&K bag, it was meant to be yours I think! Thanks my lovely xx

Thank you Greetje. The coat needed a hat and boots, I thought 🙂
