Did you all have a great weekend? I’m envious of anyone who had sunshine and/or warm temperatures… spring is STILL not making an appearance in Blighty!
We had mostly rain this weekend and the weekend before (when these pictures were taken). It felt like sub-zero temperatures whilst I was out there in the cold – I was frozen to the bone after just 10 minutes in the wind and rain. But now, with hindsight, I do rather like the effect of the rain in the photos: I like all the pretty droplets, not that I want to suffer like that every time I have outfit photos to take (click here to see my Instagram picture taken straight after the shoot)!
Thank you to everyone that entered the massive $1000 Visacard giveaway over the last couple of weeks (best of luck…!). I’m stoked to have so many new followers: I just want to say a big hello to all of you, new followers and old. I hope you’ll stick around – plus if you’re not yet following on Bloglovin then CLICK HERE so you don’t lose me come July when GFC is retired!
Hope you all have a great week – there’ll be another outfit post on Wednesday so I’ll see you back here then π

Brave! I'm scared to take my camera out in the rain, don't want to damage it. That also serves as a handy excuse to not have to get cold & wet, so I'm running with it. π That aside, I like this look, and how the droplets make your hat look sparkly.
I love your blog!
I want some sneaker wedges! Fixing to getting me some … soon!
you look great!

Love this look, especially the hat and the socks poking out of your trainers.
There's so much I love about this outfit, but the shoes have got to be my favorite. I think need a pair like it ASAP! π
I usually try to stay home during the rain, but looking at your photos I realize that it's possible to get beautiful photos even during the nasty weather:) Love your fedora!

You're making me rethink my fear of the fedora. Very cute look. And if its any consolation, things here in Scotland are positively ARCTIC.

Never fear the fedora, Kristin – it's the hat of choice of Indiana Jones, so in my book that makes it the greatest hat EVER!! ;))
xx
You make the rain look fun, lovely photos π I'm hiding away today as I have a sore throat and so looking forward to spring now.Great outfit, love your sneakers. Thanks for sharing with us at Creative Mondays…
The weather here is crazy. One day it is raining and the next it is sunny. The temps keep changing from warm to freezing. And tomorrow there is a chance of snow flurries.
I love your outfit. The scarf and jacket looks so great over your striped top.

Thank you Jenn – and it looks like you have a new blog! I will pop over and check it out! C xo
Love the outfit! I don't think I could pull off those sneakers though, lol! I can't wait for Spring to appear either.
You have lovely pictures by the way!

Your chic looks so effortless … I imagine you swishing through your closet, grabbing a hat and scarf on the way out, apparently without much stress. If I am to enjoy a decent hat, I have to love it on a woman built like you. The moment I go for the fedora and the anorak, it's immediate identification with little old bag lady. Or a blue mushroom, so I am told.
Thank you for dressing for us all to see … always a treat!
Heehee Jan I'm sure you don't look like a blue mushroom (though that did make me giggle)!! Thank you lovely x
Oh my goodness! LOVE this look SO much!
Your photos are just stunning…..even in rain!!
Oh Jeannie thank you so much!!
Cool look!
We've actually been having snow today here in Northern Illinois…spring is really being elusive!
I love your look today! The hat and scarf look so chic with the breton shirt…and your red hair looks so pretty with the whole look.
Here's hoping for warmth and sunshine soon!

Parts of the UK still have snow, Cindy, but we've managed to avoid it in the South West. Come on sunshine I say!!! Thanks for your lovely comments xoxo
I like the effect of the rain drops on the hat. And you are rocking those shoes! You make them look good with every outfit. π
Love the Breton stripes, any day of the week, Catherine! You'll have lots of flowers coming this Spring, eh?
Ohhhh I hope so, Patti – I hope so!! xo
Great look, perfect for combating the rain! Love the classic stripes with the parka and the wedge sneakers add a cool twist! I must say how much I love the colour of your hat, gorgeous! π

Thank you Julie, sweetie! x
I always shy away from taking my photos in the rain, but you're right…the rain adds special feel to the photos. They look beautiful.
And you're just so adorable in the parka and hat combo.
Awww thanks, Kristina…! I usually avoid rain too – but I think the hat helps. It keeps your face dry, and without it I think I'd be screwing up my face (not a good look)! xo
