Looking back at my summer outfits over the years has made me realise I can’t resist a pair of floral print trousers.
Good old Marks & Spencer has provided me with quite a few of them when I think back. So it comes as no surprise that this year I treated myself to yet another pair – this time ridiculously gorgeous pink and blue palm print loose fit trousers. The most delicious combination of colours imaginable, I simply had to pair them with an equally eye-wateringly bright hot pink t-shirt and my pointed flats.
… which are not the yellow and beige Daniel Footwear pointed flats I’ve been wearing so much, but the same pair in the black and beige colourway – they were so crazy comfy and flattering that I just had to get the black ones because they were half price in the sale! And I do love the yellow ones, but just occasionally (only occasionally, mind) I want to pair more neutral shoes with a bright outfit. Plus the two-tone goes with my colour blocked bag, blah blah fashion blah ; -)
What types of items do you buy on repeat? Do you ever buy the same item more than once in different colourways?
P.S. If you like floral trousers, you might like to see how I styled some of my others from the archives: peach floral chinos, loose peg-leg purple beauties, cream and black tropical print chinos and dark floral skinny jeans!
Top: Thrifted, Trousers: Marks & Spencer, Flats: Daniel Footwear, Bag: Next, Necklace: Unknown (old), Sunglasses: c/o Lulus, Watch: Lipsy, Nails: Barry M Key Lime

This is so fun! Love the bold colors, and the shoes definitely pull it all together! Skater skirts are probably my repeat-buy item. I really should branch out!

Umm…jeans and tank tops are TOTALLY my downfall, dearest Catherine!! I could probably fill a whole closet just with variations on those two themes; if I had a closet to spare, that is!! π And can I just say that I really miss having Marks & Spencer here in Canada?! I don't know what "they" were thinking, pulling out on us!! XOXO

Haha no I can't Rachel – I have no idea how I did it! It was a quick plait then stuck a few pins in it… I'll have to try and recreate it somehow π Thanks hun x
