So you may have seen the little preview of this outfit in my giveaway post on Monday – here it is in its entirety as promised. I think I love mixing textures as much as I love mixing colours at the moment, and the black, blue and coral are a perfect colour combination. And the weather beat us this week – not one ray of sunshine on Saturday or Sunday – it was pouring all weekend. So photos inside this time. A very long exposure meant we got creative with some movement after I had to sit soooo still for all the other photos!
And don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a £20 voucher for YourFashionJewellery.com – you’ve got till Monday to enter!
Happy Wednesday everyone:)

On the run …
But I so love your mixed coral fabrics … texture, all that!
Looking lovely, and hardly anyone wears a fedora that well!
Have a great week!
What gorgeous, brilliant colors! You make me want to venture away from the black and grey that are my daily go to choices. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love the shoes and the leather moto jacket! Your shots look bright and crisp!
Love the dynamic black&white shot –
I've stuck to indoor shoots because of my lack of tripod/courage/photographer friend – and I like that you've mixed it up this week (even if mother nature forced your hand)

Ah, that explains it. I just asked for some makeup tips, particularly about foundation. I never wear any because it always looks bad on me but your skin looks natural AND even. I'd like to know how you do that. Our colouring (and age) is similar so I thought you might have some advice.

Oh Issi yes your question does ring a bell – I just hadn't got round to replying before I deleted all my comments :((
To be honest – the lighting makes a huge difference to how my skin looks, so don't be fooled by how even it looks in these pictures! They were taken in natural daylight, but because there's no overhead light like you get outdoors, it kind of "blasts" the face full on with light, and it really evens everything out (also the pictures were a tiny bit overexposed). I could have taken them outside at exactly the same time (if it hadn't been raining) and got a totally different look.
That said… I might as well tell you what I do use! To see what it looks like more naturally, and after I've had a bit of sun, see this post – you'll see it's quite freckly and uneven. So in the winter when I'm paler I wear a little tinted moisturiser and a liquid skin brightener (like a bronzer). The range I use varies – currently I'm using the Barbara Daly makeup range from Tesco – but I doubt that's available across the pond…? But I swear by YSL Touche Eclat – as most girls do – it really is the best.

Thanks! I'm currently housebound again from a relapse with my back injury but am told it will be brief. As I get better, I'll get out there, check out some products, and almost certainly ask some questions. What's a liquid skin brightener? What's a bronzer? I was raised by Quaker hippies. I know nothing! You can email if you'd like at charlotte.issyvoo@sublimemercies.com
i love you scarf and those shoes are just amazing!! I hate spammers, they'd gotten out of control on my blog and i've recently disabled anonymous comments and that has really helped!
