I’m always looking for ways to dress up a multitude of warm layers in the winter, and sometimes it’s just too cold for anything other than making like a yeti on a day trip to the South Pole – but on those not-quite-absolutely-freezing days I like to add a touch of bling or style my hair properly if a hat’s not needed. So the double necklace thing I’ve got going on here may have been a bit over-the-top for what was an ordinary weekend at home, but who cares?
I’ve also rediscovered heated rollers after not having used them for years. I had a bit of Christmas money to spend so decided to treat myself… what a revelation! So much less work than using curling tongs or straighteners (to make curls). So they’ll take a bit of practice to get them right, but the curl lasts so much longer than sitting and curling all the bits of hair separately. (So tedious, and it makes my arms ache – hence why I don’t curl it that often!) I even had time to put them in on a weekday before work – normally I wouldn’t have anywhere near enough time to curl my hair. I think me and the heated rollers are gonna be best buds 😉
Hope you all have a great weekend you lovely lot!

I don't think the double necklaces are too much at all! I love using rollers, I do it once in every blue moon, but when I do I always love it! Love the the pink sweater you are wearing, looks very comfy and warm oh and stylish haha! Have a great day!

Oh- I just have to add here- late, I know- how incredibly gorgeous your hair looks! Before I even read your post, or, if I'm honest, noticed the clothes, I thought, Wow! That is hair perfection!
This coat is absolutely remarkable on you! I keep thinking that my next coat will be a pattern one, but with all the prints I wear, I'm afraid it would be hard to pair things with. I'm inspired, once again.

Gorgeous. Looks wonderful on you. A lesson not to be missed here is that staying home deserves as much, if not more, attention when choosing what you want to wear. Hmmmm … I have a deep purple and black plaid on beige wool coat that could use a similar treatment. Really, your posts demonstrate how pictures can be worth a whole lot of words! 'Preciate 'ya.
Love the coat, and so many colors would really play off this so well!
Great coat and cool look!
wow! you look FABULOUS!
in love with your coat!
Love that coat! You look so pretty.
I bought some hot rollers this past year and have used them a few times on my very, very hard to curl hair. I won't say it ends up curly, but it does help.
i'm in love with your sweater! you look so cute and cozy!

Love the pink with this!! Such a great outfit!
wicked cute boots
Lovely coat.
Loving the hot pink, especially the way the sleeves hang out of the coat, adding that splash of color when it's belted. Your hair looks like you stepped out of an advertisement for shampoo! Beautiful. Keep those rollers plugged in.
I *adore* the hot pink peeking out of the divine checked coat! Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday. xoxoxoxo
That coat is AMAZING. Loooove it.

I was going to comment on your hair! I think it looks amazing and I would have never guessed it was from hot rollers. I actually love hot rollers, but I find the curling iron quicker for me. Hee hee. But your hair looks so soft and bouncy! 🙂 I love your coat and it looks so fresh with the hot pink! <3

Lovely combination. Great shoes. Great pop of colour with the pink. The only thing I would desire is the pattern of the coat going all the way round (horizontally).
I am spoiled, I know.
You look great in that gorgeous coat, and the fur boots are heavenly.
I like the coat!
And shoes.
Best coat ever, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
love, love pink.

I love that you added some bling – great way to personalize your outfit and it totally works! I am so glad to hear you are using hot rollers, I love mine but it seems the rest of the world is using curling wands. Seems like a lot of work to me and I love saving time in the morning while I get my curl on!
Your hair looks beautiful, and I love that coat! xo
You look lovely here Cat! I LOVE your hair like this and that color could not be more beautiful on you. I also love the check coat..love, love, love!
did you by chance see that I am opening an Etsy shop with all vintage goodies???

Love the outfit. Such a great coat too. And may I say I love the brightness of your pictures too – so much color, and none of that vintage washed out stuff. Thanks!
p.s. who doesn't love a little bling?!
Sincerely,
Joanna
