14 Unmissable Reads, The Best of the Blogosphere (September 2017)

Not Dressed As Lamb's Best of the Blogosphere links post September 2017

In my Best of the Blogosphere this month I have a hilarious GBBO review, semi-permanent eyebrows, vintage Ralph Lauren, a botox and fillers review – and more!

(In case you’ve not seen these posts before my Unmissable Reads are a monthly round-up of things I’ve seen, watched and liked in the blogosphere that I’m sure you’ll love too.)

September usually brings a change in the weather and quite often a shift in all sorts of shenanigans… People get new treatments done (these feature a lot this month), new styles of things to wear and new ways of thinking. It’s all new and fresh and fun and exciting, so I hope you’ll check out these amazing posts I’ve found.

Do have a read of these great links – you never know who or what you might discover that makes your day/week/month!

Jenny promises that you probably haven’t seen this hairstyle trick before, and she was right: This is a game-changer and I wish my hair would hurry up and GROW so I can copy it.

This is SUCH a great read by Niki: “Despite the fact that I myself am over 40, single and child-free, it doesn’t mean that my friends have similar situations to me, I don’t just mix in some otherworldly non-Mum circle.”

A hilarious and entertaining review of the first episode of the new (Channel 4) Great British Bake Off.

I’ve just discovered the Instagram account of statement earrings brand MilkTooth – their earrings are seriously to die for.

Rachel got semi-permanent eyebrows done and I am so impressed with the results.

This video of dogs made me LOL sooooo much: I’m the brown dog, no question. 😂

I’m totally into my oversized blazers ATM, and I’m seriously crushing on all the ways that Carelia has styled her vintage Ralph Lauren.

“Perfection is overrated” – too true, and it seems that perfect Instagram pictures just aren’t getting the attention they once were.

Michelle had botox and fillers and filmed the entire process: boy does she look good… not a single frozen forehead or pillow face in sight.

Every year Annette wears a traditional dirndl in her native Bavaria for Oktoberfest – and this year she looks the most beautiful she’s ever looked.

Never before had I heard of the Opera LED mask facial that Lisa’s reviewed – it looks super creepy but it seems the effects are amazing.

Michelle has discussed how to set goals and actually achieve them. (I’m great at the first part, but I sure need help with the second.)

Nikki has launched her own range of highly covetable boutique bags.

I’ve never heard of a Makeup Doctor either, but Liz went to see one and was really pleased with the tips and tricks she taught her.

If you want some slightly more imaginative inspo how to style a Breton top, look no further.

I came up with 6 easy ways to improve your (blog) outfit photos for the post-production stage – a lot can be done after they’re taken!

A reader’s comments hurt my feelings and I wrote about why this was different to “I don’t like your outfit” (which I’m totally indifferent to).

I did a retrospective of my favourite autumn outfits from last year and linked to current AW17 pieces so you could shop/recreate the looks.
