Getting a little dressed up for a night out is always a winner in my book, especially when you pair something brand new with something you’d almost relegated to the back of your wardrobe. These gorgeous gold brocade jeans were sent to me to style by JQ Jeans, an Italian jeans brand now available in the UK. This pair won’t be on sale till next month, but if you love them as much as me then snap them up quick as they’re a limited edition design.
As well as being a beautiful fabric they are super stretchy (without losing shape) and they fit like a dream – perfect for those Christmas parties coming up when you want to wear jeans but blue denims just don’t seem dressy enough! I wasn’t sure whether to leave the hems rolled up but I rather liked the black cuff, so I left them to echo the black pointed heels. The old item I mentioned is the bird print blouse last worn a whole two years ago layered under a dress. The ruffled peplum is perfect for over-consumption of food(!) and with the stretchiness of the jeans I can guarantee a comfortable evening – style-wise at least!
With the prices of JQ Jeans starting at £90 and (brilliantly) half sizes available, I’d recommend a look at their website for some unusual fabrics and excellent fits.
Do you have a fail-safe date night outfit that gives you ample space to breathe (that’s also stylish)? Let me know in the comments!

Love these trousers: the colour, the style, the pint, the cuffs… brilliant.
I don't like ordering from abroad but maybe I have to make an exception…

I cannot find the ruddy thing.
Oh sorry Greetje – I mentioned they're not available till next month (now this month)… I'm going to add a link when they are on the website. I'll let you know! And I love that you love them too – they will look INCREDIBLE on your long legs!!
Such a pretty blouse and what cool print jeans.
Daphne.
Thank you Daphne – I love the contrast between the two! C x
Stopping by from Style Sessions Link-Up. Love this look and the clutch is fabulous. Following you on Bloglovin'. xo ~ Megan The Fashionista Momma
Aww Megan thank you! It's nice to meet you :))
My first time popping by, and I must say I love your hair color! It's such a beautiful contrast to your skin. & I have to learn how to do my hair like yours! Asian hair just doesn't have any volume no matter how much you tease it! & sad to hear the ear cuff is out, maybe I'll make my own! hahah
Yvonne
Dear Sunny Vintage
Hi Yvonne, so nice of you to come by! I don't know if you've seen the plastic hair lifters you can get to create more volume – they're like a crescent shape of plastic that sit under your hair once you've backcombed it. Maybe they will work?!
Anyway thanks so much for your lovely comments, good to meet you! x
You look fabulous, the blouse as well as your hair are great. I wish I had hair in such a good condition.
Aww thanks so much, Magdalena! I am at the hairdressers every 3-4 weeks for the colour with trims every third time or so, I am very well looked after…!
I love your ear cuff, I have been wanting one for a while. Love the print blouse. Great date look no question
Unfortunately this was sold out almost as soon as I bought it, Linda (otherwise I would have included a link). I've been wanting one just like this for a while – not too chunky but rather quite pretty…! So glad you liked the outfit, thank you!!
I have never found jeans chic enough for date night until I saw these! I love the colour: a great alternative for little black dresses which are my go to for dates.

That's exactly what I thought about these jeans: date night as well as Christmas parties! Glad you liked them Audrey 🙂
I simply looove the jeans, I'm a sucker for sparkly clothes! *_* The top is fabulous too!

They're so great for Christmas, aren't they Annette? I love the brocade – sort of like coated jeans but without feeling all thick and, er, "coaty" ;)) Thanks hun!! x
I just love your blouse!!

Thanks Monica – I'm so glad I rediscovered it!!
Such a cute blouse…great overall look, as always, Catherine!
Aww thanks Pam, so much!
Love your hair like that Catherine! Those jeans look great on you, but I'm not a jeans girl myself so would never consider wearing them for a night out – it's always a dress or skirt for date night! x
Thank you Sarah, it was a pretty good hair day…! I'd love to be more of a dress/skirts girl but I always, always get so cold. Unless it's 25 degrees out I just can't do skirts in the evening ;))
Your jeans are so nice. The rolled up hem is super pretty.

Thank you Cheryl – I wasn't sure at first but now I'm glad I rolled them up!
