This is a very typical everyday winter look for me: warm, neutral layers, spiced up with a bright shot of colour (turquoise in this case)! I love the contrast of the bright blue against the red of my hair, and a flower brooch keeps the knit up to my neck (I can’t bear gaps around my neck in the cold). In fact this cold weather look is made up of so many old pieces: my ancient Topshop wedge boots, the two-sizes-too-big cardigan, a grey marl t-shirt and my 70s style ombre sunnies… comfy, toasty and lived-in – what more could you want from a winter’s day outfit?!
What favourite pieces do you get out year after year that are ready to fall apart? Do let me know!
If you haven’t yet, please vote for my Aspire Style blogger challenge look – you’ll be entered into a £50 goodybag prize draw if you simply click through and “Like” my outfit on Facebook (I’m slightly trailing in the votes so pleeeeeease vote for me! Thank you so much, Corinne!!
Stunning look! I love the blu sweater, and your hair, what a gorgeous color! I have a pair of woolen leggins (which I'm wearing right now in fact) that are so worn out and old but I prefer them to a new pair that I just bought.
