London Part 1: Me necklace over me coat

Translation of the post title: One is wearing one’s lovely necklace over one’s coat. The queen told me that when we went for tea at the weekend 😉

So we got back from our once or twice yearly weekend in London on Monday. Although I’ve lived in Devon for the best part of ten years I still call myself a Londoner, plus Mr. Summers is a born-and-bred London geezer so we feel like we’re back home whenever we go. Especially with the amount of rain there was in Covent Garden…!

So as already mentioned I wore one of my statement necklaces (see it also worn here and here) over my coat – I saw this on the catwalk a few years ago (can’t remember which designer) and thought it was a brilliant idea – why hide them underneath?

Thanks to the gorgeous Adrienne of The Rich Life (on a budget) for featuring me in her monthly How I Wear My: Statement Necklace!

I saw your look posted on 'Trending through the Decades' and had to stop by and tell you how much I like it. That coat is seriously fabulous and I love your rolled up jeans. You have the prettiest hair too!

That is such a terrific idea. I hate having to cover up my jewelry in the winter and this way I wouldn't have to. Brilliant.
