Here’s wishing you a very Merry Christmas from Not Dressed As Lamb – plus I’m sending you thanks for following (and reading) along!
[Reading time: less than 2 mins]
This will be my last blog post for a week – Keith, Suki and I hope you have a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I’ll be back on Sunday for the Best of the Blogosphere for December, then the #iwillwearwhatilike link up on New Year’s Eve.
BUT THE BEST BIT – dah, dada, dah, dada, daaaaaaah:
My annual bloopers and outtakes post goes out on 1st January! It’s ALWAYS my favourite post of the year.
Case in point: Taking this picture of us with Suki resulted in some hilarious outtakes. You can imagine how difficult it was to get a wriggly dog to pose for a selfie (it involved LOTS of treats, hence the licking of the chops). Though it wasn’t really Suki that looked bad in the outtakes, if you know what I mean.
Do. Not. Miss.
Like revised store opening hours, here’s my revised Christmas and New Year posting schedule:
Tuesday 24 to Saturday 28 December: No posts, having a break π
Sunday 29 December: Unmissable reads, the best of the blogosphere for December
Tuesday 31 December: #iwillwearwhatilike link up post
Wednesday 1 January: My 2019 bloopers and outtakes
Thursday 2/Friday 3 January (depending how my week goes): The #ShareAllLinkUp, my [tongue in cheek] predictions for the 2020s
Sunday 5 January: 9 fabulous women who wear what they like roundup
Tuesday 7 January: Back to normal scheduling with the next #iwillwearwhatilike link up post!
All that’s left to say is a HUGE thank you for reading the blog this past year (or longer if you’ve been with me longer)… I really do appreciate every single comment and social media engagement. As I always say, a blog is pretty much dead without engagement, so comments are INCREDIBLY important.
If you’ve never commented before then do please reconsider, especially if you’ve been reading a long time! Some people might be afraid that their details are displayed – don’t worry, they’re not. You can use a pseudonym or nickname, and your email is never, ever made visible or sent to third parties even though it’s a required field (in case that’s what been putting you off). I also can’t “store” your email address.
And if you want to make sure you don’t miss anything new on the blog, why not have every post sent to you by email?
What I have planned for 2020
What do I have planned for 2020? Hopefully, more of the shorter content that everyone was so in favour of. I will still write in-depth, thoughtful or tips posts every now and then, but those will be once a month or so. There’ll just be lots more bite-sized content. I find it hard to write less, but as someone who regularly has verbal diarrhoea then it’s no surprise I find short posts more of a challenge.
And with that in mind(!), I’ll sign off and say happy Christmas, and I’ll see you next in the final few hours of 2019. Thank you again – let’s make the next 10 years even better!
Anything you’re hoping to see here at Not Dressed As Lamb in 2020? Now’s the time to tell me…!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Catherine! I am just back to blogging myself after a 9 day holiday break. Looking forward to your bloopers post! Happy New Year, my friend.

Happy Christmas from Paris (France) and thanks for the freedom you are giving us (I just bought orange trousers … π ). Hopefully, the next “Unmissable reads” will reach us on December 29, not January 29, but whatever, I shall not miss them. All my best wishes,
