Not Dressed As Lamb YouTube Channel Launch Q&A | Ask Me Anything!

Not Dressed As Lamb YouTube launch Q&A (ask me anything)
I’m finally, finally about to do it… I’m launching my YouTube channel at last! Since I questioned you lovely lot as to whether you were interested in hair and make up video tutorials, I’ve had lots of ideas on what I wanted to do once I got onto YouTube.

It’ll be a lot more than just hair and make up – I want to cover everything from skincare to fitness to generally fun stuff, and everything in between. The idea is to launch my channel with an “About Me” vlog, where I’d like to answer questions that YOU want to know the answers to.

Therefore you need to leave me some questions in the comments! As it’s intended to be a “get to know me” kind of vlog I’m asking for questions about me personally, so it can be about anything – as serious or frivolous as you like – but things that are relevant to me. (Not general advice about blogging, for instance, that I’ll probably do another time.) So keep ’em clean and appropriate, leave your name (very important so I can give you a shout out in the vlog!) and I look forward to answering what you want to know 🙂

I’ll be filming this on Saturday 20th June so you’ve got till then to ask me questions. (Oh and if you wish to subscribe to my channel in advance you’ll be the first to see the vlog when it goes up!)

P.S. I did post a video last week about me playing the bongos – did you see it?

Congrats on your newest adventure, I'm sure it will be amazing! I have similar fashion-y questions to what have already been posted re: wardrobe staples. Or maybe just, if your house was burning down (hideous start to a question sorry!), but if you could only save one item of clothing or shoes etc what would it be and why?

Also do you subscribe to any rules for keeping your closet/wardrobe tidy? (i.e. do you throw stuff out if you haven't worn it for whatever the going recommended period is – I read recently 3 months and thought – um no, that would be most of my wardrobe!)

Wow! That's awesome we need more channels in YouTube with women like you, now my question is do you do your own makeup or someone does it for you? Also do you have an assistant for helping you with your blog?

Yay, great move hun, I've learnt so much over the last few weeks, firstly with google hangout with YT then attending their beauty day where they invited some bloggers to a closed shop, confidential day and then when I met with a talent agent. It's a whole new world for me despite my more traditional directing career. I really want to build there, exciting times, I'll be subscribing x

    This is wonderful news!
I have a non-fashion related question. What do you like to read?

    So exciting!!
My questions are, what was your worst fashion mistake as a teenager? And secondly what are your favourite high street stores?

Ooh exciting :-). I would love to know how big your wardrobe is and how often you add new items – and how many ;-).

    Hi Catherine,

So pleased to learn of your new YouTube venture, which is sure to be just as successful as your blog. I have a couple of questions that I would love you to field during your inaugural vlog:
    1. What tips do you have for ladies newly transitioning into their 40s (things you wish you had known, lifestyle tips, diet and exercise, etc)?
    2. How did you and The Silver Londoner meet?
    Many Thanks!

Hi Catherine! I'm so pleased you're doing this, I shall look forward to the YouTube launch. How on earth do you find the time?!

My question is this: if you could only save 5 items from your wardrobe (I was going to say in a house fire but it seemed a little dramatic!) what would they be and why? Do you have some sentimental pieces that you just couldn't let go?

I'm going to subscribe just because I want to hear your voice!! Good luck with this venture, I hope it turns out ok. I dabbled with videos a bit but I wasn't very good!!

I'd like the video camera to walk us around your wardrobe, you could pull out some new pieces and some favourites and talk about them.

I also want to know how much you spend on clothes, what is your favourite shop, and why you order online instead of physically going shopping.

    xx

Can't wait for your first video. I have some questions:
    1. Have you always been interested in fashion?
    2. What are your wardrobe staple items?
    3. Where do you get your inspiration from for putting together outfits?

Hi Catherine, Congratulations on your YouTube channel. Am so pleased for you and will be watching avidly. I would like to know how you keep your motivation levels up and stay focussed on what you want to achieve, how you come up with new ideas for the blog, what kind of things inspire you, what are the biggest lessons you have learned over they years and how you use them to keep moving forward with your career. Is that too many? I'm thinking of the things I would ask you if I met you! Good luck with the channel. Lorraine x
