My Fever London ‘Perfect Fit Model Competition’ Photos

Fever London - Arlington Maxi Dress Multi
Drum roll please… they’re here, the pictures from the Fever London photo shoot I was lucky enough to be part of at the beginning of March! This was the competition that I entered to be one of five “perfect fit” models for vintage style clothing brand Fever London, and thanks to the overwhelming support I received I won my size category and got to model key pieces from their Spring Summer 2014 collection. You can read the behind the scenes post here in case you missed it…!

Each piece is now accompanied on the Fever website by a photo of each of the five winners wearing the same piece so you can get an idea of what it looks like on every size. To see the whole collection was modelled by myself, Debs, Liz, Celina and Nikki.

I’ve included all my final images below… my favourite is the first one above, wearing the ! A lot more sultry than my usual blog pictures, so it makes a nice change to see myself like that 🙂

Do let me know what you think of the pictures, and whether you think it was a good idea to showcase ordinary women modelling clothes in all sizes (I personally think it was genius)…!

P.S. If you missed all my Tweets, Facebook posts, blog posts, etc. thanking everyone for voting for me (and you voted for me) – THANK YOU! I wouldn’t have been there without you… I’m eternally grateful!

Super sweet photos and really nice outfits! I especially love the yellow cardi with stripey skirt and skinny jeans with blue bow top, you look amazing wearing those. Very photogenic!

What great photos. That Maxi dress is gorgeous and I love your 1940's looking hairdo. My other favorites are the red dress and the lace dress as well.

Beautiful Pics, absolutely love the hair, my favourites would be the first one and the last one, you look a perfect combination of classy and sultry.

Oh my gosh, Catherine…every single one of these looks is absolutely adorable!! I can just imagine how much fun you must have had getting all "dolled up" and then modelling this incredible selection of vintage-inspired outfits!! They all look like they were made just for you – which is certainly a positive endorsement for using "ordinary" women as mannequins, isn't it?! I couldn't possibly select a single favourite, but my top three are the citron-coloured belted dress; the one-shoulder party dress; and of course (!) the peacock- feather maxi dress!! XO

You look gorgeous in all the outfits. My favourite is the one with you in the mint dress. Congratulations again and for winning the competition =)

Beautiful pictures! This is such a good idea, and so useful to get an idea of what the clothes will look like on your size, rather than trying to guess from one model, or a mannequin.

I think that was what was so important Georgina – the selection of models in different sizes. That's what has pleased everyone so much, it seems a lot better than just one winner. So glad you like the pictures, thank you! C x

I think it was a great idea! You look beautiful Catherine, love the retro theme throughout the shoot and your hair and make up is so pretty. I imagine it was an experience to remember 🙂

Congrats Catherine. I think it's great that fever london has done this, it will definitely increase their sales. You look fabulous in all of the outfits but my favorites are the pencil skirt and the lace dress.

I would like the light blue chiffon dress, red dress, and the last lace dress please. Kidding. I liked reading about the time you had, and the other ladies and their stories as well. Must have been quite fun.
Love the hairdo as well. jess http://www.elegantlydressedandstylish.com

This is brilliant, Catherine! I love, love the photos and that was such a great idea of Fever to let you all model their collection. I do hope they will continue with that concept.
Although I have to say you all look like professional supermodels anyway 🙂

Hehe we were thinking (us models) that fever should get the five of us back to model the AW14 collection…! That would be a good idea! Thank you Annette x

Woo hoo! Spectacular! I figured you had probably won, but I hadn't seen confirmation. You look great.

  23. 3 April 2014 / 2:35 pm

Ooo you do look sultry in that first pic Catherine, I think you look absolutely bloody amazing! Well done again, it is great that such a nice bunch of ladies won, very deservedly. I've seen Liz's photos, and the lady from Bang on Style's as well, and they're great too.

Perhaps you'll do some sultry poses in your regular outfit posts from now on? You can definitely pull it off!
