Every winter I come up at least ONE crazy-bold outfit: I think this may be this winter’s offering.
This is what I wore to go up to London a couple of days ago for the first part of a new hair campaign I’m working on. I was told to wear something that “summed up my style” – I think it’s safe to say that I managed it: All The Warm Colours, a touch of 70s styling and clashing prints? I think so!
(BEFORE I CONTINUE, IF YOU WANT THIS EXACT M&S AW15 COAT IN SIZE 10 ACT NOW – a worn-once one ends on eBay at 15:28 UK time on Wednesday, no bids yet!)

This is the first outing of the pink corduroy jumpsuit on the blog since it first appeared back in October last year. It hasn’t had many outings at all this year – I’ve worn it maybe 2-3 times – which is a shame as it’s SO darn fabulous. (It’s not suitable for walking the dog, and that’s about the only ‘place’ I go these days.)
I loved it with the new-to-me red and white sweater I charity shopped the other weekend whilst out searching for ornaments and bric-a-brac to upcycle for my Not Lamb Home Etsy shop, which brings me onto the pairing of pink and red together.
So far, so good: who doesn’t love a bit of pink and red? Me, it seems – but only when there’s an opportunity to add orange into the mix as well. The orange giraffe print coat is an old favourite and ALWAYS gets so many compliments – did you see my note at the start of the post that said there’s one on eBay in size 10? It ends on Wednesday 16 December [TOMORROW AT TIME OF WRITING] at 15:38… don’t miss it if you love this coat as much as I do.
Yep, orange, pink and red. In my eyes (and where my style is concerned) it just works.
I had a few regrets about wearing a jumpsuit with a sweater ON TOP for a train journey to London, but my need to say “this is me!” far outweighed any train toilet woes. I’m up in London again tomorrow for part 2: we’re shooting yet another hair colourant campaign for my Olia Rose Gold colour. And this time the hair (which was dyed with the same Olia Rose Gold box dye I’ve been using all year, but this time by a stylist in London on Sunday, hence my first trip up there) is reeeeeeeeally pink, probably because they put SO MUCH of it on my hair! And I’m loving it.
OR should that be “Because I’m worth it…?” #SeeWhatIDidThere

What a joy to see all of these vibrant colours together Catherine! I fell in love with that jumpsuit the very first time you showed it and after much searching have at last found my own corduroy winter wonder. You are an inspiration as ever and well done to you on the hair advert.
Keep safe,
love

It took me a while to read this post. I had it open on my phone since I got the email. This outfit is soooo you!!!
I wish I had the eye for mixing and clashing patterns and colors but I just feel “not right” and I return to my matchy-matchy safe place as usual
I’m still thinking of an outfit that says ME! Can’t think of any…. something with jeans, I live in denim…. but I am not really sure… I was in the midst of revamping my wardrobe and shifting to get “a style” when I got pregnant, then broke my foot, so that’s done for at least a year or so
I love that you are wearing pink and red together so much, they are my two favorite colors! <3
Catherine, this is amazing and you put it together so stylishly. I know it has been a few days since you posted this but will you still be able to travel to London with the new regulations etc etc.?
I was in a blogger parade once where we asked to show an outfit that summed up our style. For summer. And that is definitely jeans and a white oversized shirt for me. Add some pink soles and I would be all set. xo
Merry Christmas. Sabina
Gorgeous colors! I love your boots!
Life is a Shoe
It really does work and I love the pattern mix too!
There’s no doubt about ya lady, you know your colours
I love these colours together, it’s a very cheery ensemble! Fab jumpsuit!

I Love Orange & Pink and you look Fantastic. That jumpsuit fits you to a tee.
Happy Holidays!
Love this coat, and how you have put together these lovely, warm colours! Especially in these dreary times.

Catherine, this outfit combination is magnificent! I love these colors together and it absolutely sums up your style perfectly! I did chuckle about your train toilet woes because I have worn a jumper over a jumpsuit before as well…and bathroom woes were definitely a real thing! Very, very tedious, for sure. I have been trying to brighten up my outfit game lately. It definitely helps with my mood during this crazy year!

As you can see at the linked up posts, I’m totally the opposite of you! But I can get thrilled over colors! Especially blues and greens together, and red and pinks. And I love that jumpsuit. It is so you!
Adoring this jumpsuit and I can never get enough of orange. I’m always drawn to this colour no matter the season. And with your beautiful hair- this is fabulous! xx
It’s a fun outfit! I do love all the warm colors paired together. So cheery in the winter darkness.
Michelle
Yup. Fabulous. That is all.
I LOVE pink and red but never thought to add orange. But you’re right, Catherine–it works!! I love it! Thanks for the inspiration.
xx Darlene
OMG! Those colours! I love them and I especially love them on you, Catherine xo
Love this coat and how you styled this outfit! Such a fun color combo as well! Thanks for hosting and have a great week!
