Time to feature fabulous ladies who wear what they like… it’s the first roundup of 2020!
[Reading time: 3 mins]
Hopefully this year I’ll get back into a regular routine with this feature: I’m desperate to show off as many of the amazing ladies (and their outfits) that are out there on the interwebs as possible. More roundups mean more chances to be featured, so do please recommend the Tuesday #iwillwearwhatilike link up to anyone with a blog and/or Instagram account who you think would like to be one of my bi-monthly picks in a future Women Who Wear What They Like post.
As I’ve said before it’s wonderful to see my regular ‘linkers’, but variety (as they say) is the spice of life and I’d LOVE to see some new faces.
A quick recap…
How this featured blogger series works:
Each month I look at all the thumbnails on my weekly #iwillwearwhatilike link ups and pick my favourites to feature here. I also add three outfits from elsewhere in the blogosphere that have inspired me (a blogger who didn’t link up but I wish had; the blogger with the most inspirational photo shoot, and the blogger with the most jaw-dropping outfit).
These women dress however they like. They dress to express their personality and have an incredible sense of style, whether that’s classic, on-trend, boho, preppy, glam, granny chic, etc. There are NO STYLE RULES. No one has to be ‘trendy’, or wearing the latest styles to be featured. No one has to have that typical LIKEtoKNOWit/Instagram style. No one has to be a particular age. No one has to be a particular shape or size. I’ll simply feature women that have impressed me AND my readers, those that had a high number of clicks on their link, etc.
Without further ado, let’s get straight onto these fabulous women…
9 Fabulous Women Who Wear What They Like
Style Crone
Well of COURSE I was drawn to Judith’s all orange and black outfit, wasn’t I?! Her signature hat, the kimono jacket, the way she’s styled the scarf as a belt… all far too fabulous.
Living on Cloud Nine
I can’t resist a tulle skirt, and Andrea’s is dreamy. I love how she continued the uber-feminine theme with the pearl hairclips and ruffled cover-up.
High Latitude Style
Nicole’s pattern mixing is bold but it works beautifully. Pink tartan? How have I not seen PINK tartan before?
Fierce Fashion
I adore this casual khaki look from Kim. It looks so gorgeous and comfy and is perfectly accessorised (plus how good does that colour look on her?).
Anna’s Island Style
Anna’s pattern mixing prowess knows no bounds, and this blue ensemble is a lesson in how to successfully mix your prints. She looks like a mermaid out for a night on dry land.
High Heels in the Wilderness
Sue’s outfit is full of autumnal richness, both in colour and texture. She’s tied the scarf beautifully and the bag worn cross-body style is a lovely finishing touch.

So those were the bloggers that linked up to #iwillwearwhatilike – now I want to share some bloggers who weren’t part of the link up, but whose outfits made me look twice. Each time I’ll pick one for each of these three categories…
The blogger that didn’t link up (but I wish she had…)
Mary Murnane
Do autumnal outfits get more elegant or chic than this?? That dress is THE BOMB. I’d love for Mary to link up outfits like this every week to #iwillwearwhatilike – we need to see more of her!
The blogger with the most inspirational photoshoot
District of Chic
I don’t know what I love more about Elisabeth’s shoot: the architecture, the light, the composition, or that fabulously bold outfit juxtaposed against everything I already mentioned. Just beautiful.
The blogger with the most jaw-dropping outfit
Wardrobe Oxygen
Aaaaargh Alison’s red, pink and leopard outfit is just superb: HOW gorgeous and colourful is this?! It knocked my socks off the first time I saw it; it still does now.

I hope you enjoyed this post of this monthly series; remember, it (usually) goes out on the second Sunday of every other month so if you don’t want to miss any more then make sure you sign up for email updates!
Which was your favourite outfit? Tell me in the comments!
Great photos and compilation Catherine! Really gorgeous women with beautiful and classy outfits. I especially liked Anna’s Island style mix and match prints, which she carries with élan. Beauty and fashion has no age limits.
Do not know how I missed commenting on this. Some of my favourite ladies there.

Oh Sue nooooo… chest infections are the worst, I had one in October 🙁
Hope you feel better soon, glad this post brightened your day! x
Catherine…I am not really very computer literate and am confused. I am 82…make many of my clothes…with matching hats and always get comments from strangers on my clothing. I would like to participate in your “iwillwearwhatilike” but am unsure how to go about it. I am not a blogger and do not have an Instagram account. Can I still participate? I would be happy to email you a picture of one of my creations to see if you think I might qualify from time to time. Enjoy your blog very much.
Author
Sandi it would be lovely to have you participate! I’m pretty sure you can link up just an image – it’d be easier for me to email you (so I can send screenshots and explain the process) – shall I use the email you used when leaving a comment? The one which is W******s@msn.com? (Please don’t type out/confirm your email in the comment, I can see the one you left in my admin page!)
