Spring seems to have taken FOREVER to arrive in the UK… now that winter is just about gone for good I thought it was time to look back my favourite spring outfits from last year!
We may be meteorologically well into Spring 2018, but to be honest it feels like winter has barely finished (with the exception of our bizarre mini heatwave the other week). As I do every quarter with each season, I’ve picked some of my favourite spring outfits from last year to hopefully give you some outfit inspiration. Unfortunately none of these items are available any longer (as to be expected), but I’ve found some pretty gorgeous alternatives online so that you can recreate these looks for SS18 (or just pick one item and style it completely differently of course)!

All the outfits I wore have been updated with a few variations here and there using the current shapes and silhouettes – I hope you find something that you like and can work into your wardrobe. Spring going into summer is my FAVOURITE time of the year (whoop whoop for May!), so a little retrospective of this particular season is always a joy for me.
I am absolutely loving the blue floral trenchcoat in the main picture – it’s the first time I’ve seen anything similar since I got it about three years ago, and I’d KILL for the floral maxi dress I’ve featured in the second outfit. Plus it’s the perfect time of year for a red Breton stripe t-shirt (you can never have too many stripes – it’s the law).
Go forth and multiply your spring wardrobe, ladies!

Wonderful inspirations – thank you so much. I love No. 1 – pastels are my favorites currently too.
In Germany we have really Summer – it is so warm, therefore I plan a picknick this evening in the famous “Englischen Garten” in Munich.

I love the striped top and skirt and the floral trench! These outfits, though different, I think could be combined together for a unique twist as well. You have such a great eye for pairing pieces together. Your blog inspired me to wear what makes me “me” and to feel good doing so. Each day I’m learning to be comfortable expressing myself as I am thanks to you. Happy Spring!! I just watched one of my fav. Youtubers this morning and she was saying England has a sunny streak atm. Hope you’ve been able to enjoy it!
Great outfits! Number 2 and 4 are my favorites but they are all very nice! Spring has begun here in Belgium and it’s so nice to enjoy warmer temperature and be able to sit in the garden!
the pink trouser suit looks so flattering
Love the floral coat! I remember all these pics like it was yesterday! Time has flown!

All these looks are gorgeous on you Catherine, I like them all but you look really stunning In the floral dress so cool . The last outfit with the red stripe top and cream shirt are elevated with the red lip, cute bag and black pumps very french chic well styled .
Have been out taking shots today in the sun which was lovely, some nice floral spring like outfits at last! Thanks for sharing today. X
This is great! I don’t think I was following you yet a year ago so this is all new to me. And what lovely looks! I’m a sucker for a strip so I love the red and white striped breton tee with the cream skirt and the black pumps! It’s ladylike and casual at the same time. Nicely done!
And yay for real spring at long last!

Spring is taking forever here in Canada too. 🙁 Anyway, I love your outfits. 🙂 They always look so cheery. My daughter recently got her hair balayaged and I thought wow, wouldn’t that look great on you!!!!!!
🙂 Particularly after you shared all the colours your hair has been over the years! You could even start with your natural colour at the roots and go through the shades of red from there, getting lighter and lighter towards the ends. My hair is too short to do that now – I’d look like a micro-striped sweater and since it took over a year to grow in my natural silver, I’m reluctant to dye it any more! Anyway, thanks for your always positive posts!
The spring looks you show here are really beautiful! My favourite is the blue coat.
Lovely greetings from Bavaria/Germany, Rena
