Relaunched: The Husband’s Over 40 Menswear Blog

Over 40 menswear blog, Silver Londoner

The subject of what to share with you this week for the link up post was easy: The husband has relaunched his over 40 menswear blog and I’m giving it a bit of a shameful plug!

Keith launched his blog Silver Londoner – a personal style blog designed to give some outfit inspiration for older chaps who might be struggling for ideas for stylish outfits – in 2014. It was going really rather well, but as so many bloggers find, he found it hard to juggle a blog with a full time job and all his other interests.

So two years ago, it came to an abrupt halt. I thought it wasn’t ever going to be resurrected until sometime at the end of last year when he announced that he did, in fact, want to start it up again. (That of course made me happy because it would mean I’d get to flex my photography skills once more!) A few months down the line and he here is, back posting with what he hopes will be a regular weekly (Monday) post, and I’m really happy for him.

If you could take a moment to go check it out I (we!) would be really grateful, and if you know of any older gents* who might like to follow him for inspiration, they can sign up for updates by email here – as he says: One email per post, nothing more, nothing less…!

*Or chaps of any age, to be honest 🙂

A hot tip for linking up:

Great to hear your husband is blogging again. There doesn't seem to be many male style bloggers. I'll tell my husband to pop over for some style tips 😉

A big congratulations to Keith on the re-launch of The Silver Londoner…and to you, too, dearest Catherine, because I know first-hand how much of a husband/wife team effort this blogging business usually is!! ;D P.S. Signing up for your hubby's email list pronto!! XOXO

It's the first time I've dropped by on on your Saturday link up and what good timing to catch your promo for your lovely hubby! I must dodge over to see his post next. Thanks for this platform to promote other topics and I do hope you don't mind me adding a couple to your mix. The fur debate is one that none of us can avoid, especially when you read the news I discovered about faux fur. I do hope you'll find a moment to read it.

You guys are so sweet blogging together and taking each others photos – very cute x

Crikey – you two must be the best dressed pair ever when you go out!

I'm glad your hubby is coming back to blogging, I really like seeing Menswear looks but there's an awful lot of stuff out there that isn't really of my interest or my husband's. I wish him every success! x

Your husband is such a snappy dresser. I managed to my other half to model some shoes for me once – it was hard work 🙂

  8. 24 February 2017 / 11:03 pm

How fun! I love the shoes and socks of the first outfit!

    Have a great weekend!

In the spirit of men's fashion, I posted 2 of Rob's posts that I put on my blog just recently!!
