Sharing Hilarious Cult YouTube Channel Bad Lip Reading #SaturdayShareLinkUp

Yoda and Luke Skywalker - The Empire Strikes Back movie still

Are you a Star Wars fan? Game of Thrones? The Walking Dead? The Hunger Games? Twilight?

If you love any of these – and more besides – then you absolutely have to check out the cult YouTube channel Bad Lip Reading. What started as guy (just the one I think) uploading stuff from the TV with crazy imagined dialogue dubbed over the top has become one of the few YouTube channels that makes me rush to hit play when something new’s been uploaded.

He then moved onto music videos, does movie and TV programmes and presidential debates too.

The music videos he now does are songs he (I have no idea who “he” is, but in the comments everyone insists “he’s” a one-man band) writes and produces himself – and they’re so catchy I guarantee you’ll be singing them all day [sorry].

It was, in fact, the only way I could watch The Walking Dead at first: I hate zombie movies, but BLR’s videos were so funny that I could watch them… And eventually I got hooked on the programme.

Today marked a crazy-exciting day for me (yes, THIS was what made my Black Friday special, not any amazing shopping deals:

(As you can see the husband was excited about getting Star Wars cinema tickets today too, so the timing was perfect)

The notification came through from YouTube to say BLR had uploaded a video of Seagulls – Stop It Now… (a line from one of the Star Wars videos made into a full-length song and music video). You see, this is his strength: Taking one line from a Bad Lip Reading upload and making a whole song around it.

And I can tell you – it absolutely made my day. My month. My flippin YEAR… I was sat at home watching it by myself with tears rolling down my face I was laughing so much. Then the husband came home, we watched it again and laughed again.

And yes, I now have the song firmly ingrained in my head.

So here are two BLR videos to get you started… Enjoy 😆

After you’ve seen these you want to move onto the music videos – you can even buy them on iTunes, and they’re actually REALLY good… I mean the songs are so good you’ll actually listen to them… You’ll just confuse people with the lyrics that’s all 😅

Other Bad Lip Reading videos I can recommend:

“PETER & GWEN” – A Bad Lip Reading of The Amazing Spider-Man
“The Walking (And Talking) Dead” – A Bad Lip Reading of The Walking Dead
And I think I heard about 1D’s “Shadow Pico” before I’d even heard of Bad Lip Reading…
“SHADOW PICO trailer” – A Bad Lip Reading of One Direction

(Disclaimer: I cannot accept any responsibility for any huge chunks of time wasted watching BLR videos. I will deny all knowledge of ever having mentioned it.)

So all that’s left to say is… LET’S GET THIS [LINK UP] PARTY STARTED!!

I have to admit that I'm not really a Star Wars fan but that's funny! My husband found a Bee Gees medley with three men dressed up as them – google it because it's hilarious. Every time "More Than a Woman" comes on the radio all I can hear is "Bald Headed Woman"!
