After buying this fabulous in the Asos sale and absolutely falling in love with it, I decided to don winter whites and wear it with the white skinnies that I put into storage for some silly reason last winter.
I actually think the sweater (which is not only reduced from £150 to £45 but also incredibly soft) looks better with white than it would have done with black – and I went the whole nine yards with taupe/nude accessories. The La Redoute ankle boots (last worn here) are the perfect colour for an all-white ensemble, especially white skinnies. I can see these boots being my footwear of choice for these jeans over the colder months… watch this space!
I also wore my new Wolf & Moon earrings from Project J that were kindly gifted to me – the style is unlike anything else I own but they are so ‘me’… I love them! They’re very chunky but the clever design (with all the different textures: wood, glitter and glass) makes them quite delicate-looking. They sound heavy but they’re actually as light as a feather.
Are you cosying up in your knitwear yet – or are you sporting winter whites like me? Maybe you’ve found a better bargain than my £150-down-to-£45 sweater… Do share in the comments 🙂
Sweater: (currently reduced to £45!), Jeans: Asos, Boots: c/o La Redoute, Earrings: Wolf & Moon c/o Project J, Bag: Karen Millen (old), Sunglasses: Unknown, Watch: Asos, Bracelets: New Look / Asos
Winter whites is probably my favorite winter combo!
Such a beautiful earrings. I am in love with them. On the top of that, The sunglasses are perfect and they really suit her face shape. Wonderful and stylish.lady.
If I wore white jeans I would look like a snow man, and here you are looking soooooooooooo chic.

Aww Cherie thank you… seems that everyone loves my red hair with the winter whites!
Your winter whites are looking lovely. I was going to ask about your hair too, but saw your explanation in the comments above. I think that's my favourite bit of this outfit – the contrast between your hair (which is fab) and the brightness of the whites!
Thank you Amy! I always forget that my hair adds another colour to my outfit, and yes I agree about the contrast working 🙂
I love the look with cream. I have a new cream sweater and will try it with white jeans.
I think cream and white is very chic Josephine so yes – you should definitely try it! x
Thank you Jamie 🙂
I love that sweater. Especially the two different textures from body to arms. Great look:)
Doesn't it make it so much more interesting with the two textures, Susan? Thank you my lovely x
Catherine, this is one of my favourite looks! Casual yet classy and sophisticated. It is all about the accessories and your earrings are beautiful! I have to check out their collection now…

Annette | Lady of Style
There's something about winter whites that does scream "sophistication" isn't there, Annette? The irony is I'm so NOT sophisticated… it's all a front, haha!!! Thanks so much x
Thats a lovely jumper. It looks very cosy and warm.
X x
Ohhh it really is, sweetie! Thank you 🙂
Love the neutral combo and the ponytail rocks.
Daphne.
Aww thanks Daphne!
You look stunning in this look! I would have bought the jumper but they haven't got my size, what a shame because it's a great find!! xx

Oh that is a shame, Ingrid! At that price I'm not surprise it's sold out quickly. Thank you hun x
Beautiful look Catherine! I love the neutral colour scheme and especially with the autumnal feel of the background in your photos 🙂
Take care,
Daniella xox
The background (luckily) was perfect, Daniella!! Thank you so much my lovely x
I have loved Winter White since waaaaay back in 2003 when I owned the perfect Winter White trousers. I alternated wearing them with a Pearl and seed bead covered WW shell or a long lace WW jacket. Thanks for bringing back sweet memories of outfits past. :o)

Winter white, my favourite colour and I loved it styled with camel x
I may just have a full-on winter white and camel outfit post coming up in a week, Donna… well actually I have. For definite! It may just need a little vote from yourself so watch this space! Thank you for your comments xx
Love this neutral and crisp look. There's something about wearing lighter colors in colder weather that I just love. Thanks for the inspiration!

You're welcome Brooke – and thank you for your lovely compliments! Here's to winter whites 🙂
Great outfit! You look fantastic in white!
Martina thank you – you're a sweetheart as always x
My best bargain I think are my £75 to £15 suede boots, or £90 to £40 wool coat! All white looks great on you, I think it's the red hair and glowy skin that sets it off!

I love the winter white sweater with the winter white skinnies. I would never have put these two together in winter. Great idea. I am confident to wear white now this season, accessorized with tan. You have a new follower! 🙂
Thank you Jenny – and welcome to NDaL! I love the fact that you're named White, and I've got you to love the colour white even more :))
Definitely one of my fav looks for fall / winter .. I love the whites, neutrals paired with tan accessories.

You look gorgeous dear! 🙂
Isa M., Tic Tac Living
Aww Isa thank you!
Love that all white trend Catherine. Even better with camel acc. How did you do your hair? Love it! xo Sabina @Oceanblue Style
Thanks so much Sabina! It was (unfortunately) one of those "aaargh quick I need to put my hair up" jobs… I took the front section up into a sort of quiff and clipped it on top, then (and this is the complicated bit to explain), I got hold of all the hair as if to put it up into a high ponytail. I flipped my head forward, then put one of those big barrette clips across my flipped-forward hair, so that when I flipped my head back again the clip was underneath the "ponytail" – that's why it's all pouffy at the back.
I hope that makes sense…?!! x
Beautiful sweater 🙂
Thank you I love it too x
