Breton Stripes, Colour Blocking & Neutrals

Breton stripes & neutrals
I know I tend to be the girl that wears all the colours, but I do occasionally tone it down and hit the neutrals.

The suede waterfall jacket is very old but is perfect for this time of year, especially with the Breton stripes and the colour blocked bag. I bought the New Look patent nude flats to have something totally neutral for the summer – they’re so comfy and of course they’re going to go with everything and anything this summer.

You may have seen my curls if you’re following me on Instagram or Facebook – my hairdresser dried my hair like this and I loved it. She didn’t use curling tongs or rollers, and for someone who grew up with dead straight hair I can’t believe there was so much natural curl in it…!

Thank you for all the lovely comments I’ve been left over the past week or two – I’ve been away a lot but am now back home and can finally get round to replying to your comments – apologies for taking so long. Enjoy your week everyone 🙂

Ah this is the perfection of neutral tones! Classy, fun and yet understated. Also- your bag?- I'm drooling.

I was indeed quite surprised to see you in black and white which combination I adore. So to me such an outfit is heaven. And it is such a good stage for this gorgeous curly red hair.
    Great, great bag as well.

i LOVE this neutral outfit, as much as im a girl who loves colour too i just can't help but love a good neutral outfit and this one is perfection. i think if i had to pick one outfit to live the rest of my days in (as hard as that would be..eek!) This is exactly what i'd choose. Lovely clean lines, great colours and comfy yet chic! Love it all!! and i can't remember if i mentioned on IG or twitter? But your hair curly is amazeballs! so so pretty, are you able to duplicate the look yourself? Normally when i have a great hairstyle done at the hairdressers i can never re-do it.. mostly because im terrible at all things hair lol!

Gaaaaaah thanks Rachel!!! I wasn't taking any notice of what she was doing when she dried my hair, not just because she made me slide down into the seat and put my head right back, so I couldn't see anyway! I may ask her to do it the same again next time and get her to show me how. I've tried it myself but I can never seem to find the curl, just a lot of shaggy mess, hehe 😉

Wow…love your hair this way, dear Catherine!! (Mind you, I always think your hair looks amazing!) And your neutral colour palette today ready lets that auburn mane take centre stage; sometimes, it's really fun to do a very different look, isn't it?!
