Neon Stripes, Ikat and Polka Dots

2012-08-28 Not Dressed As Lamb 001

I do hope you’re all having a marvellous weekend!! It’s always over far too quickly, isn’t it..?

I wore this to work a little while ago when the weather was still messing us about, i.e. it teased us with some hot days, then got chilly again just as we were getting used to the heat. But it did at least give me an excuse to wear this lovely light blazer I picked up for next-to-nothing in the sale at River Island – I just ADORE the two colours in the stripes together! So yes I’m wearing pink again, and there’s yet more pink in the scarf – my first piece in an ikat print (bit late to the party, me).

Did I tell you how much I love the colours in the blazer??? I love them, I do. LOVE them.

Wonderful mix of patterns + vivid riot of bracelets – such a joyful look, yet grounded by the neutral pumps which pick up the stripe in the blazer. Nicely done!

Oh this looks amazing Catherine! I love your striped blazer, I really wanted to get my hands on the t-shirt/dress version they sold to. Love how you teamed it with the polka dot top and ikat print scarf, the jeans neutralise and add a certain casual twist! πŸ™‚
