Some days (actually, a lot of days) I just feel like wearing jeans and t-shirts, jeans and shirts, jeans and sweaters.
I guess it’s my equivalent of wearing ‘sweats’ that a lot of bloggers talk about trying to resist. But on those days I still want to dress it up a bit – so out come the neon brogues, statement jewellery or fancy manicures. Or all three.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I LOVE the manicure! It's the perfect shade of pink and the metallic part just gives it that added kick.
Nice outfit! I usually wear my jeans with a t-shirt, but it seems too boring to shoot for my blog. Maybe I'll have to try one day. The plaid shirt makes your outfit special, though simple.
Love this preppy look and the nail colors too! 🙂
Hello Catherine! First of all, I love the new blog layout and I'm catching up with your lovely posts! One of my favourites was the office outfits as you showed us so many original ways to create a look, which is both office appropriate and stylish! As for jeans & brogues (or trainers), they are my uniform for casual days! I wish you a great w-e!
Thanks Caterina, so glad you like the new look sweetie! xoxo
I'm loving those brogues especially.
All those details you mention make this look special and particular to you, as opposed to ordinary. That manicure is something else – whoa! I adore your jewelry. Great jeans, too.
Ok – I have to know – do you do your own nails? Or do you get them done? They always look lovely! What's your secret? 🙂
Thank you, Ashlea!!! I do them myself, and mostly (well, always) get inspiration from Pinterest – where else do we get our ideas these days, heehee!! It's one of the things I spend time on in my lunch hour at work, and so it's a lot of practice and a steady hand (I was good at colouring inside the lines as a kid). I also look after the cuticles with cuticle remover and a good cuticle cream which makes a huge difference to their health and strength.
Hope that helps…! xoxo
Gorgeous, but I missed lovely Catherine in skirts and dresses so much.

Oh, I'm sorry, Sacramento…!!! I know how you love my dresses, but they're actually quite impractical for me at the office – I save them for the weekends usually. But I have some good ones coming up soon, don't fret!! C x
