Lilac sunshine

This week has flown by, mostly because we had a three day working week following the long weekend. Now, I love Britain’s flag, I’m quite patriotic, and I loved all the Jubilee celebrations – but if I see one more Union Jack plastered on one more piece of tat…!??!!

Seriously, though, I’m so glad I have an outfit post that’s not all about the red, the white and the blue, and I promise I won’t mention the J word again. But I will mention the W word: The weather at the moment in the UK is awful, especially considering it’s June! I’m looking out the window at a wet, windy day… these pictures show how beautiful the weather was, and how changeable it is in this country. I’m glad I was able to wear gorgeous sunny yellow with my new lilac aviators from ASOS that day (I think I want aviators in every colour); at the moment though sunglasses seem somewhat pointless! (As I was on holiday a couple of weeks ago, I’m running behind with my outfits by about a week, but I have some plans and I’ll reveal them soon – the backlog is going to help me there. I’m being cryptic, I know πŸ˜‰

Right, grumblings over! I need to watch this again – Jessica’s my guru of all things grrreat. Happy Friday everyone – have a wonderful weekend and remember – bring on the PMA*!!!

The most beautiful part of these photos is the bit of sun in your hair…it's almost like a halo.
