As I still have a head full of cold today I’ll mostly let the outfit do most of the talking.
It was about time I wore my thrifted Lacroix blazer again – the find of the century! – but I was actually finding it hard to style differently to the way I wore it here. So I just went with jeans as the starting point, then added enough layers to keep me warm in the form of my go-to denim shirt and a sale bargain sweater from ASOS. And wearing more than one watch? I saw Jessie from Style & Pepper wearing watches like bracelets – that girl can do no wrong in my eyes so that was good enough for me!
I also haven’t worn these heels in a long time – it’s as if they were made for this blazer. I forgot how pretty they were 😉
Hope you all had/are having a lovely weekend!

You look beautiful as ever with all your glorious colours! I voted yes for Twitter, although I'm not an avid Twitter user, but I tweet every day. Are you on Pinterest yet? Since you're such a visual person and post wonderful outfits, I think that would be great for you. Great for inspiration and it can lead to quite a bit of extra traffic too if your pins get repinned a lot. Let me know if you need an invite. I'm at https://pinterest.com/40plusstyle/
Aww thank you so much, Sylvia, that's so sweet of you! I am on Pinterest but have only really just started using it – it's my next project to get my outfits regularly pinned on there. Thanks for the tip! C x
I love the colour combinations of this outfit. The shoes tie it all together. I wear jeans alot and I'm always looking for new ways to style them.
Get well soon:)
Thank you, Audrey – I am becoming a bit fond of blues and pinks together…! And thank you for your good wishes (STILL can't breathe properly, boo!) C xx
Is that belt blue on one side and pink on the other?! Because that would be awesome! This is a great jeans look – jeans are one of the things I have the most trouble styling. I always feel like I look too sloppy in them. Your outfit looks kind of fancy, though!
It's not blue on the other side, it's all pink with a blue edge (but a reversible belt would be a great invention, I'm sure they must exist somewhere)! And I don't ever think you look sloppy in jeans, Stacey – your combinations are way too eclectic and interesting 🙂 Thanks for your lovely comment! C xoxo
The sweater anchors this entire look for me! I have asked Jesse who sometimes wears multiple watches whether she keeps them set for different time zones.
Ooh I never thought about the time zone thing! That would be clever as half my family live in Australia…! Thank you Terri :))) C x
I love the busy-ness of this outfit! so fun!
