Street Style – Take One

And now for something a bit different (for me).

Since having a fashion blog I’ve been noticing what other women wear more and more. As a frustrated photography graduate I thought it was time to jump on the street style bandwagon and see if I could successfully combine my two great loves. So on a hot October day in Exeter, camera in hand, I took the plunge and just did it. I didn’t want to restrict myself to older women simply due to the theme of my blog, so I looked for stylish women regardless of age. I’ve always thought your age matters not a bit if you look fabulous – a beautiful dress and great shoes will make you feel more amazing than the date on your birth certificate ever will.

Claire, 37

Megan, 19

Gillian, 45

James & Liberty, both 17 (These two were just the most adorable couple ever)

Linda (age not given)

Lynn, 52

Mel, 24
(I left Mel’s photo till last simply because I am so glad I eventually managed to persuade her to have her photo taken… The one that nearly got away? Thank goodness she didn’t!)

I’d like to thank the lovely ladies who said yes – you look fabulous and I’m really grateful to you all. Thanks also to my trusty assistant/niece Charlotte who did a brilliant job of taking down everyone’s details and helping me talent spot… you’re a little star. (If you’re one of my ladies please don’t be too self-critical as I know us women can be – I’m no exception – remember I wouldn’t have asked you if I didn’t think you were super stylish! You can leave a comment at the bottom or if you’d rather, email me by going to my About Me page.)
