My Women Who Wear What They Like series is back – at last!
The last time I featured a roundup from the best of my #iwillwearwhatilike weekly linkup – and a few other outfits I’ve found around the blogosphere – was in January, and I switched to bi-monthly in order to stick to a schedule I could keep up with. Seems I couldn’t keep up with that at all (I was working in Prague when the March post was due to go out so I hope that’s a reasonable excuse), so here we are in May. Only ONE was missed…!
The format is still the same: six outfits picked from the linkup, one inspirational photo shoot I’ve seen, one blogger who didn’t link up (but I wish she had), and one jaw-dropping outfit I found. Except this month I don’t strictly have 9 fabulous women, I have 13… the inspirational shoot had five incredibly gorgeous, diverse women. The more the merrier, I say!
And the bit I always mention:
These women dress however they like. They dress to express their personality and have an incredible sense of style, whether that’s classic, on-trend, boho, preppy, glam, granny chic, etc.
There are NO STYLE RULES. No one has to be ‘trendy’, or wearing the latest styles to be featured.
No one has to have that typical LIKEtoKNOWit/Instagram style. No one has to be a particular age. No one has to be a particular shape or size.
I’ll simply feature women that have impressed me AND my readers, those that had a high number of clicks on their link, etc.
I’m still looking for more women to join the link up: although I LOVE the fact that there are those that link up regularly, we need more diversity. Please do send a link to this post to anyone you think has great style and is willing to link up on a Tuesday to #iwillwearwhatilike for a chance to be featured in this bi-monthly feature post!
Remember, this series goes on on the second Wednesday of every other month so if you don’t want to miss any more then make sure you sign up for email updates!

9 Fabulous Women Who Wear What They Like
Chez Rama
From Rama’s gorgeous neon coral knit (how well does that colour go with her dark hair?) to the patterned shorts and OTK boots, I love every bit of this outfit.
Midlife and Beyond
Alison’s outfit proves just how easy jumpsuits are: as well as being trousers for those who don’t “do” dresses, they’re the wardrobe equivalent of a package holiday. No effort required, it’s all done for you. The navy colour, flared sleeves and casual tailoring are perfect.
Birth of a Fashion Blogger
I know it’s May and almost summer but I went through every post linked up from January onwards, and Chanda’s pink and winter white outfit stood out. Love the heeled lace-up boots and that furry coat.
Spy Girl
Anne made her tunic from a 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target scarf… it’s nothing short of awesome.
The Sequinist
Apparently this dress sold out online (it will be restocked) after Lisa wore it with those fabulous glittery courts and turquoise accessories. I cannot even BEGIN with how elegant this is… I need this dress in my life so badly.
Living on Cloud Nine
This has to be just about the most fun jumpsuit ever – though with the top half having straps is it more dungarees than jumpsuit? Either way, the simple long-sleeved white top and accessories make Andrea’s outfit 100% perfect.

So those were the bloggers that linked up to #iwillwearwhatilike – now I want to share some bloggers who weren’t part of the link up, but whose outfits made me look twice. With each feature post I’ll pick one for each of these three categories…
The blogger that didn’t link up (but I wish she had…)
Fashion and Cookies
Vale is ooooozing double snakeskin chic in the most incredible dress and (sort of) matching boots, which give the dress an extra bit of edge. Extra points for the red lips and fierce sunglasses. We NEED Vale at the weekly link up…
The blogger with the most inspirational photoshoot
This Time Tomorrow
SO good I had to bring you at least two photos from the shoot – I actually featured Krystal’s post in my April Best of the Blogosphere post, but it deserved even more attention. The photos of her and her girlfriends blew me away because THIS is what we want to see more of… not a group of cloned size zero women in ruffles and strappy sandals, but regular, everyday women of all different colours, shapes and sizes (and styles) looking absolutely breathtaking. I can’t thank Krystal enough for bringing us this shoot. More, please!
The blogger with the most jaw-dropping outfit
Diva in Me
Aaaaaaaaargh – WHAT an outfit! I’ve had my eye on this dream ensemble for weeks with this post in mind, and it’s stayed the forerunner for the Most Jaw-Dropping Outfit spot. Yen looks astonishing in her traditional-meets-modern outfit that she wore for Chinese New Year. The yellow and pink print, the bag, the flats, her hair… all stunning. I’m in awe.
Definitely definitely Yen is my fav – so Audrey!
So many styles, so many shapes, so many personalities – we girls (or women to be pc) are certainly not boring!!!

Wasn’t Yen’s outfit incredible, Georgina?! I’m so glad you enjoyed this – I love seeing such a fantastic mix too #woopwoop
Thank you so much for including me in your round up again! I’m so happy to hear it resonated with you and I couldn’t agree more — we need more influencer content that features ALL of us!

Aaaaaaargh I can’t BEGIN to tell you how much you’ve made my day by commenting, Krystal!! You were one of the first bloggers I ever followed… I’m so glad you brought us this post, and YES to more diversity! Thank you!!!!! xxxxx
Thank you so much for including me!
I still haven’t my static cling issue mentioned in my post, but I did wear this again to my college’s Fashion Scholarship Benefit Show. I had to stand in a staircase to direct the VIPs to the runway area (they built the runway in the parking garage) AND I MATCHED THE STAIRCASE! ¡BOOM! http://spygirl-amb.blogspot.com/2019/05/boom-goes-otis.html
Adore This Time Tomorrow’s images — going over there now!

It was my pleasure, Anne – LOVE that you matched the staircase in this tunic!! 😀

P.S. When I first Anne of Spy Girl in real life, she was wearing her BOOM! tunic. I so adore that woman!
