Spring 2016 | Bold Print Trousers With Pale Blue, Camel and Orange

Spring style: Bold patterned pants, pale knit, orange tote, camel fedora | Not Dressed As Lamb
I can’t begin to tell you how much I love the wild print on these Finery London trousers – as it’s made up of so many colours I thought I’d go mad and add yet more to my outfit! (They’re SS15 but I found a great pair of French Connection printed trousers and a MaxMara pair with a very bold modern floral print that you might like.) The print of my trousers is made up of a white background with green, brown, pink and grey and it’s quite a cool palette, so I warmed up the outfit with my orange tote bag and a felt camel fedora (except for during the summer this hat works all year round).

I love this oversized blue V neck (it’s crazy reduced down to just a few quid and there are a couple of sizes left) and have worn it loads since I got it last year. The grey block heels first appeared a couple of weeks ago with paisley patterned joggers and a layered tunic and they are so comfortable. Long may the block heel live.

THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE. LONG MAY THE BLOCK HEEL LIVE.

One gorgeous new accessory I have is the gold stars ring from Lizzy O – run by the wonderful 40+ blogger What Lizzy Loves, she’s curated a stunning collection of affordable accessories and scarves with handcrafted, quality jewellery by Danon. She has exquisite taste so check out the website www.lizzyo.co.uk and don’t forget to follow Lizzy O on Instagram!

So I’m definitely feeling more spring-like these days, especially as we’ve had several gloriously sunny days in a row down here in the South West – it may be cold still but I’ll happily accept sunshine and chilly temperatures as long as those northern winds stay away.

I'm a big fan of print pants…and what a great color (the light blue) to add to the mix!! I am my mother's child and would have tried to match the colors in the pants originally. I've been working hard to get out of that habit though!
You are quite the comedian with the statement "long may the block heel live"—I actually laughed out loud!!
Personally I don't have any block heels (shocking, I know), so I may have to invest!
    Great inspiration again Catherine!! jodie

Visiting from Visible Mondays … Love this look .. the pattern trousers offer so many options for pairing with various colours of sweaters, t-shirts great for stretching the wardrobe.

My everyday color palette is pretty muted, but I love a few standout pieces. Your trousers are fantastic, and I love the additional colors you added to your outfit! It all works so well! I own a pair of flower pants with many colors, which I "found" last fall on the bottom of my casual pants drawer. I'm excited to wear them again soon and may add a few more colors to my outfit this time around thanks to you!

I love this whole outfit, especially those trousers (swooning)! If I didn't know you and saw you on the street, I'd definitely stop you and BEG you to tell me where you got them! Only you can take a pair of trousers like that and add even more colours and make it work. This is classic NotLamb, bravo lady. xx

Great outfit. Love the pattern on the pants. They would be good with all sorts and colors of tees, sweaters, jackets and so on. Also, love the shoes. They look stylish and comfy. – Amy

Aw, Catherine you look fabulous as always. Thank you so much for being showing the stars ring off so well. It looks brilliant on you. I don't have any patterned trousers but having seen these, I might be tempted to invest in something similar! Have a lovely weekend, love Liz xxx http://www.whatlizzyloves.com xxx
