As this is the fourth Sunday in the month that means it’s time for my Favourite Fun and Fabulous Links! A little NYFW, how to start a fashion blog, my (Spanish) sartorial soul mate and words from a wise young woman. Enjoy, and Happy Sunday 🙂

What I’d give for San Franciscan backdrops like Chelsea’s – or her patterned jacket.
I’ve always been a big fan of Jean Shrimpton and I love Kailey’s take on her floral portrait by Bert Stern.
Liz of Delightfully Tacky has some great free printable blog planners to download from her photography website.
Yen’s black cape is so beautiful and I’m so in love with those heels. And her accessories.
The best Instagram feed I’ve found lately? @mushroomstew. Lots of food, fashion, flowers and a fabulous pug or two – every single image is beautiful (you can tell Ashley’s a photographer). Her blog is pretty fabulous too.
Possibly the prettiest, softest look from NYFW courtesy of Jess.
I challenge you not to think this is the best post EVER about how to start a fashion blog.
10 things that took Audrey 26 years to learn is like reading a wise old woman’s brilliant thoughts on life. Every single point is spot on.
I absolutely flippin’ LOVED this post about a mum allowing her toddler to dress her every day for a week. Who says shoes have to match?!
Whilst I don’t think Kat looked anywhere near as bad as she made out (or even bad at all to be honest), I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who just doesn’t suit the boho look.
Mixed patterns done beautifully by Trina – great texture mix too (and check out those two-tone peep toe booties).
I have just discovered THE most inspiring blogger… I think she’s my Spanish sartorial soul mate. Have a quick look to see how old you think Carmen is, then come back and read the P.S. at the bottom of this post. Make sure you’re sitting down.
As a non-parent I’m lucky to have never received these sorts of comments [in real life], but it saddens me that posts such as Things You Should Never Say to a Childless Woman should have to be written at all.
I never get round to doing all the crafts things I pin but I really, really want to try bleach-spotted fabric.
Finally: Watch this video to take a test to see how much you pay attention: You may end up watching it several times like me… this was so clever.

P.S. Carmen is in her 50s. What the…????!!!!!!

I love your Favourite, Fun, and Fabulous Linkups. I'm always introduced to some new beauties (Carmen!) great style, good reads (if even disheartening–that child one got me), and fascinating vids. Thanks Catherine!
Love,
Ann of Kremb de la Kremb
Thank you Ann, that's a great compliment! Carmen is such a great find – she was introduced to me by a reader via an email. And yes, the childless woman one certainly makes you think, doesn't it? I don't think that "fabulous" *has* to mean fluffy, or pretty, or inspiring… it can mean really great, something that makes you stop and think too. Hope others agree :))
Awesome links! 🙂 Thank you for sharing! :))

Thanks Greetje, glad you liked them x
The mom letting her toddler dress her was my favorite. What a fun little experiment…maybe I'll try it some time? :o)
