Hello, spring! I am so pleased it’s March. I thought I’d celebrate with a full-on springtime outfit and share some gorgeous florals with a big smattering of fresh white checks today – all from George at Asda. I am very excited about this outfit, and I have to bow down to Asda for creating some truly swoon-worthy pieces that are on trend, very flattering and unbelievably affordable.
I will admit I chose the pieces blind (sort of) – I was asked what I liked from their new range and from a few small thumbnails I mentioned I liked the white check duster coat from one image, and the floral scuba fabric top and coordinating scuba leggings from another. I was sent all three to review – not for one second did I think I’d wear them all together, but amazingly they worked so well as a complete outfit.
I haven’t lived near an Asda for many years, so although I used to buy from George long ago I really haven’t checked out what they have for ages (it hadn’t occurred to me to go to their website). And not forgetting the grand total of the three pieces: Just £41 full price, but as the top and leggings are now on sale the total of this outfit is just £29! The value for money of this range is unbelievable – the quality is really, really good. I don’t think you’d ever guess this was a supermarket range, nor that the whole outfit was such a low price.
By the way, if you’ve never tried scuba fabric trousers before (I hadn’t), I can thoroughly recommend them for the comfiest trousers ever, after pyjamas of course…!
I can safely say I will definitely be shopping online at George from now on – are you a George at Asda shopper? How have you found their range? (And if you’re overseas you might be pleased to know they do international delivery!)
