Happy Boxing Day – I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I have wanted to share some of my favourite links with you in a post on the blog for ages. There are so many things I read in blogs and online that I think are just superb (and well worth sharing). Quite a few bloggers do these sorts of posts and I always love reading them: I thought it fitting to do one on Boxing Day – great for browsing while you’re in a turkey and chocolate-induced food coma!
If this is something you’d like to see on a regular basis let me know in the comments 🙂

Brooke looks like she stepped right out of a 1970s edition of Vogue.
“3 Months to Better Health”. Follow Emma’s journey to a more healthy her (done for all the right reasons).
I wish I could pull off mega-wide skinny flares like Victoria.
Hello Giggles discusses a harmful body image compliment we need to stop giving.
Emma is wearing gorgeous grey pastels and a to-die-for check coat (well, I am obsessed with all things check this winter).
Paintbrushes sculpted into beautiful women. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Roisin’s expertly-written view on Julia Roberts without make-up (hard to believe but this blogger is still only a teenager).
Find out why Keit’s eyelash sweater “outlines [her] boobs quite nicely“.
If Fleur East isn’t a megastar within two years I will eat my own head (Simon Cowell you can quote me on that).
The husband has done pattern mixing pretty well with a polka dot tie and striped shirt (my style must be rubbing off on him).
The award for the most gorgeous Christmas party outfit undoubtedly goes to Liz in her lace dress and faux fur jacket.
Franziska has written an observant and insightful post about bloggers that digitally alter themselves: “Blogging started because real women wanted to show their real lives as opposed to what most of print media was, so the fact that bloggers are now faking it “to make it” just seems backward”.
I’m thinking about copying Sophie Dahl’s electric blue winged eyeliner (make up by Lisa Eldridge).
Great tips on how to style your Instagram photos like a blogger.
Katy answers some Christmas “would you rather” questions. I’m totally in agreement on the Rudolph/elf question.
Blair’s all-white outfit may be Gucci but you could totally recreate this on the high street (January sales, anyone)?
Em’s beautiful alabaster skin sets off her bold red lips to perfection.
Finally – if you remember David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s cringeworthy music video from 1985 you’ll laugh and cringe at this in equal measures:
(If you don’t know who Mick Jagger is – you might know him better as Georgia May Jagger‘s dad…?)
P.S. Don’t forget to look out for my 2014 Bloopers and Outtakes post on New Year’s day!

That blue winged eyeliner!!! Do you know what brand it is?
I don't know I'm afraid, hun – you'd have to click through to Lisa's website to see if she lists it (though I don't know whether make up artists list what they use)….!
Great links, Catherine! I was laughing about "If you don't know who Mick Jagger is…" 😉
Can't wait to see your annual bloopers and outtakes.
Speaking of coma … I am checking my favourite blogs in between a never ending Christmas cookie supply by my mother!!
