Transitioning Into Spring | Neon Scarf, Jeans & A Rock Tee

Neon scarf, khaki jacket & rock tee
I don’t dare hope that the harshest winter weather may finally be over, but I’m enjoying thinking about the lighter weight jackets and blazers I can dig out to wear again. My khaki parka hadn’t seen the light of day for several months, so at the weekend I paired it with a touch of neon, my old Bowie rock tee and an absence of gloves. What a treat.

Have you started adding touches of spring style into your daily outfits yet? Do share in the comments!

Loving the nails, great mani. The T shirt look suits you to a "T" , adding the oomph of the scarf, jacket and Booties just takes it up a notch. Great look and who doesn't love Bowie

This is indeed a rock chick outfit. And you can pull it off.

I really love how that neon green looks against the olive! I'll arm wrestle you for the Bowie shirt. 😉 these days I'm absolutely kicking myself for not keeping some of my concert tees from the 70's.

Gosh thanks Paul – I do think the photographer (husband) has captured the light beautifully in that first pic!

In my wish for Spring I started adding more colour into my outfits – pops of green, yellow, lilac. I can't wait for Spring to come to rock the flowery prints.
Have a nice and warm weekend!

Aren't military-style jackets just the best, Catherine?! They give any look a cool, tomboyish feel…the perfect finish for your band tee and skinny jeans!! Love those black booties, too…and that rectangle ring is fab!! XO

Well, I'm jealous of all your green. WE just got hit with 7 inches of new snow yesterday. Blergh. Great look.

I'm trying to incorporate spring, but, per usual, I'm struggling a bit with it. Mostly because even though it's sunny, it's not warm and I want to wear warm stuff still.

I know what you mean about the sunny-but-cold thing, Gracey! It's such a dilemma ;))
