Today’s outfit is purposely a nod to springtime – less than three weeks till March and I can’t wait!
I’m really excited to be part of a Spring Summer 2014 campaign with Pago Fruit Juice to bring you a competition that you can enter to win one of five Cambridge satchels – I’d love one myself…!
Pago have asked a small group of bloggers to create an outfit inspired by their favourite Pago flavour – they kindly sent me a gorgeous gift box containing a set of 12 flavours to try. To be honest every flavour is delicious (for a bottled juice they couldn’t taste more like freshly squeezed strawberries/pears/cherries etc.), but in the end I chose Pink Grapefruit which is also the colour of my beautiful new pink thrifted sweater. Taking inspiration from the pink and lilac tones of Temperley London’s SS14 collection (oh, the colours!), I paired it with my lilac Asos midi skirt and knee high boots and layered necklaces, all in deep purple and magenta tones.
Style Your Flavour with Pago to win 1 of 5 Cambridge Satchels*
So, do you fancy having a go at creating your own outfit inspired by a Pago flavour? There are over 40 flavours available, from Cloudy Cherry and Pink Grapefruit to Peach Nectar. Take inspiration from Pago and the best looks from #LFW SS14 to enter this great competition.
For your chance to win your very own Cambridge Satchel, simply pick a flavour, create your look and upload your image to the Pago Facebook page before noon on 28th February (full terms and conditions here).
One other nod to a current trend: the long bob. In case you were wondering: I haven’t gone for the chop (much as I’d like to) – I’m just too chicken right now, so instead I went for a very on-trend hair tuck. This outfit just seemed to suit my hair ‘short’ for some reason. It’s nice to try something new with the option of growing it long again next day!
So do please check out this competition and upload your outfits – and let me know what colours you’re looking forward to wearing this spring in the comments!
*style and colour TBC & only open to UK residents I’m afraid.

I am working in collaboration with Pago Fruit Juice on their What’s My Flavour campaign. All opinions are my own and 100% honest.
You look glam as always and you fooled me with the hair tuck. Very clever and fun indeed!
ahhhh! You cut your hair..did I know that? I LOVE IT! Wish I had the "you know whats" to do it….why am I so attached to my long hair?
Anyway…looking lovely as always 🙂

Nooo I didn't, Carly – sorry I deceived you!! It's a hair tuck 🙂
And thank you!!!

NICE…. Your outfit. Once I got over the shock. I thought you cut your hair!! And thought " never!". I quickly went to an older post, but no… No posts about cutting off hair. Tssss

You're wearing those fab magenta boots again, Catherine…they alone are enough to make me drool!! But this whole look is tone-on-tone perfection with all those pink, lilac and purple shades!! Love the hair trick, too; at first glance, I really thought you'd gone for a bob!!

These colours are lovely, especially with your hair.

It's my new favourite combo I think Suzanne!! Thank you so much :))
What a FUN idea for a contest! You look lovely in your grapefruit inspired outfit – I love all of the pink tones on you. And the hair – it suits you dear!
Love all shades of lavender/purple, and some shades of pink! This outfit reminded me of a hand me down cotton lavender dress that I insisted on wearing to church as a child, and froze because it was an English Spring – not warm enough to cast off winter clothing!
beautiful mix of colors!

HI there. I think I might just try this Pago challenge. I have to go through those colors tomorrow. Maybe Kiwi. if there is. I too as a redhead love pinks, and I am so into the blush pink this season. I really love the skirt on you, and if you do decide to chop the hair, it would look lovely! I too think i will have long hair in my 90s!
Unfortunately the competition is only open to the UK, Jessica… but the flavours are great for inspiration – and you're a colour expert!! Thank you hun x
Now thats what am talking about. Screaming style all over and those colours look divine together.
Hehee thank you Elsie… great comment!!
wowser thought you had taken the plunge and was going to tell you that you were far braver than I, I am such a chicken with my hair. The long bob does look great though as does the pink outfit
It's fun to 'test the water' as it were with the hair, Linda…! Thanks my lovely x
Those boots, awesome!!

Thanks Sacramento – I know how you love the skirts…!!
Stunning colours together xx
Love the hair-tuck – you had me going for a moment! And you look so pretty in Spring colors. xox
I love the purple pink combo! It's very elegant and pretty on you! I love how you styled it with those adorable boots!
My first reaction was— "Catherine cut her hair!" It looks great, but I totally appreciate that it is actually a tuck— something I want to play with as well.
Anyways, I do like the sort of ombre effect you've achieve in this look. And the color do scream spring!
I am actually really looking to add some lavender to my wardrobe, although I have found the right piece just yet….
