Not only am I sharing some pictures taken in the beautiful light at the top of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, but I’m sharing my first ever video. Yes, I’ve finally got round to making a video…! It’s only 30 seconds long, but it’s quite amusing – you have free reign to laugh at my irrational fear of heights.
As far as the outfit goes – the weather was still boiling hot so it was once again about keeping as cool as possible (thank heaven for cotton skirts). And here’s a great tip for taking outfit post pictures: if you find a great location or tourist attraction like this where the light is beautiful and the background is perfect, visit it near the end of the day and stay right up to closing time. We had the top viewing level for five minutes all to ourselves… and of course the obligatory jumping shots started. Scroll down and you’ll see.
Enjoy the video…!
P.S. Gok Wan interview will be next week, I promise. Soooo much more work than I anticipated, but it’ll be worth it.

Lovely look. Cool and stylish… well done.
Liked the video. I would have been more worried about people looking up as I am walking acros haha.
And fear of hights etc. are normal fears or normal phobias. Nothing to worry about.

The photos are amazing, but the video is just too cute! My husband is also afraid of heights – to the point that he'd probably refuse to even go up inside the Spinnaker Tower.
Yup, that glass floor would creep me out too!
Love the skirt tho and what a gorgeous place. xoxo

My heart was in my throat just watching you cross! Now I wanna do it too! :o) Two years ago I climbed waaaaaaaay up to the top of a castle tower, then proceeded to walk around the walkway thing that HANGS OUT AWAY from the actual tower (think wrap around porch in the sky). Halfway round I broke in to a light sprint. :o)
The way you countered the pastel colors with the bright blue was brilliant!
