I was contacted by online lifestyle store Surfdome.com to review an item to style on the blog, and as I’m a total sucker for a rock tee this Junk Food Blondie rock tee top was my number one choice!
It had a lot of positive comments on Instagram when I posted a snap of it here – it seems you guys like rock tees too (or was it the Blondie thing?). I quote: “I die @notlamb !!! That top is KILLER!!!!!” My thoughts indeed!
Surfdome kindly gifted me this top. All reviews are my own and 100% honest, however.
Now I have to admit, when I first landed on the Surfdome website my initial thoughts were: hmmm, surf-dude clothes… not my usual style. But when I started browsing I was pleasantly surprised to find they sell so much more than just beach wear and I liked so many things; until I saw the Blondie top I was beginning to think it was going to be tough to choose just one item. It goes to show you should look outside the usual places you shop once in a while because you never know what you may find. And if you want to expand (or start) a collection of rock or logo tees then you should definitely check out the massive selection of Junk Food brand tops here – you can find everything from Hendrix to Bowie to Mickey Mouse.
So I kept the styling casual – I initially thought skinny jeans, but changed my mind and went with the 80s (Blondie) theme and layered with lemon yellow and grey. It’ll still look great however with denim and a blazer over the top for colder days.
Let me know how you guys style your rock tees! Happy Wednesday everyone 🙂
*I’m only wearing one earring because halfway through the day I realised I’d lost one of them… not happy 🙁
