Neon, Sunshine and a Butterfly

So we were paid a visit by a passing butterfly when we took these pictures, not unusual except that it’s January. In England.

It’s so mild the poor things are confused and popping up all over the place.

I got the neon satchel for Christmas from my lovely Mr Summers… my face was a picture when I opened it (shock and awe and amazement), I totally forgot that I’d said ages ago I would really love one. The gorgeous bling ring I got in my stocking, and then in total contrast the raincoat was a bargain from Karen Millen years ago. It was about £120 down to £30 and I was living in London when I bought it – it’s at least 12 years old. I reckon the price-per-wear must now be in the minus figures, it’s such a classic and has never dated.

So this is a bit of a “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” post. Nothing to do with weddings. Can I say we borrowed the butterfly’s time to take his picture?

Booking my flight to England now to steal that BAG! OMG…I am obsessed with it. Neon is going to be huge for spring…and I am not brave enough to wear it in clothing most likely..so accessories like that bag would be PERFECT!
    Love this look!!!

Love, love, love the neon bag. And I hope it doesn't suddenly turn freezing and kill all your butterflies; that would be horrible.

I love that you grounded it all with the black shoes. You look gorgeous! We've been enjoying mild temps here too – some of the trees even have buds on them, I'm worried we'll have a hard freeze!

That bag is fantastic! And I think you wore it with the ideal colors.
That coat was a great find..don't you love it when you buy things that you end up wearing for decades?
