Orange Is Not the Only Colour

Funnily enough, this top was in the “awaiting ebay” section of my wardrobe – I just hadn’t got round to listing it. I photographed it a long time ago in preparation, but something had stopped me going ahead (I think it was something to do with me being a lazy arse). Anyway, for some reason I saw it the other day and thought it would look rather fabulous with my new orange maxi skirt: autumnal colours and all that. Glad I rescued it – the outfit’s a bit of a riot of colour but that’s what makes it work methinks.

BTW I didn’t sew the sequins on the top myself, but if you’ve got the patience I think it’s a great idea to liven up an old sweater. An arrangement of brooches would work just as well, and not be such a pain to wash!
