This outfit actually started with the khaki cap, slogan t-shirt and jeans and I grabbed a jacket on the way out; it was only then that I realised the cap and camo jacket were both military-style. I did stop and wonder whether to change one or the other, but as it was the weekend and I was only going out for some grocery shopping I thought I’d just go with it. Having a sportswear contrast with the helped – this wasn’t the time for my black army boots…!
I’ve loved army-style caps since I saw Rosario Dawson in the Chemical Brothers’ Out of Control video in 1999 – I think it was not long after that I actually bought this cap (and another the same in black). I was also a fan of Linda Hamilton in her sleeveless tank and cargo pants in Terminator 2 – some styles never leave you I guess!
Finally I must mention the fabulous “Self-confidence is the best outfit” slogan t-shirt that I was sent by my lovely blogger friend Ann of Kremb de la Kremb. She sent it to me as a thank you for some help I’d given her with her blog – how utterly sweet is that? It’s also a sentiment I couldn’t agree with more 🙂
Have you ever experienced some real love or support sent your way by another blogger? I’d love to hear everyone’s stories of love in our wonderful community…!
