Sharing a Little Love (Because We Need It) #SaturdayShareLinkUp

It’s been a very strange week in the world, and I thought we should end it with a little sharing of love.

Without making too much reference to what’s been happening, what’s done is done – the best we can all do is to continue being good to each other to set a good example to those around us. So I thought I’d make this week’s Saturday Share link up a bit special by asking you all to share a bit more love than usual… I figured there’s plenty to go round!

Let’s start with a little love right here – link up all your blog and Instagram posts, visit a few links that have linked up as well, and leave some nice comments for others.

The link up is a chance for you to reach more people by sharing your current and evergreen posts (hence why you can link up old posts), and find amazing new bloggers and their amazing posts. Of course it also helps me with traffic if you stop buy – did you also know that comments are great because it helps bloggers with their SEO? The more a blog is updated with new content (that includes comments, as mentioned in my pros and cons of blogging daily post), the more visible it’ll be in searches.

Comments count towards updated content, so get clicking through and commenting – it’s a great way to share some love!

DID YOU KNOW COMMENTS ARE GREAT BECAUSE IT HELPS BLOGGERS WITH THEIR SEO? THE MORE A BLOG IS UPDATED WITH NEW CONTENT (THAT INCLUDES COMMENTS), THE MORE VISIBLE IT’LL BE IN SEARCHES.

I thought I’d share a few things I love (as an antidote to all the hateful stuff) this week:

1. The hashtag #Michelle2020 💪🏾

2. My pictures of Kew Gardens from the weekend. So much autumnal yumminess

3. The new John Lewis Christmas advert – yes I got all teary-eyed #BustertheBoxer

4. That satisfying feeling of buying Christmas presents and gradually crossing people off your shopping list

5. Finally buying spiced candles for that satisfying winter smell

6. The revelation of finding out that the Danish art of Hygge (“hoo-gah”) actually is pretty much what you’ve known all your life as “Norwegian cosy evenings”

7. This gorgeous faux fur-trimmed sweater and this beautiful Wolf & Moon marbled necklace

8. My new profile picture – changes always feel gooooood

So all that’s left to say is… LET’S GET THIS [LINK UP] PARTY STARTED!!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Thank you for joining the #SaturdayShareLinkUp! Designed to allow you to share anything you like on ANY topic, it goes live every Friday at 9pm UK time and will stay open for a week. You can share blog posts or Instagram posts, old posts or new posts, and link up as many as you like.

PLEASE be kind and leave a link somewhere on your post, and share your post using the hashtag #SaturdayShareLinkUp – if you tweet your link with the hashtag I’ll even retweet it to my followers for you 🙂

A hot tip for linking up:

Use clear, bright images (crop in close if necessary) and add a relevant, descriptive title (you’ve got 75 characters to use). These sorts of thumbnails and text always get the most clicks, so don’t waste the opportunity to increase traffic and engagement on your best work!

An InLinkz Link-up
