(In case you’ve not seen these posts before my Unmissable Reads are a monthly round-up of things I’ve seen, watched and liked in the blogosphere that I’m sure you’ll love too.)
Autumn’s definitely here! Aaaaargh!! Where on EARTH did the summer go. Whether or not it’s your favourite season (not mine – summer all the way for me), you might like to know that this a spiced pumpkin latte-free zone… you’ll find none of that predictable fall nonsense here. How about dogs asleep in crazy-ass positions? Or Frida Kahlo grinning uncontrollably? Or great advice about knowing your worth and knowing when to say No?

Gotta love dogs falling asleep in funny positions.
I mentioned Trinny Woodall’s IGTV video in an outfit post earlier this month, but her demonstrating how belts can make an outfit gave me loads of tips and was worth mentioning again.
This guy on a rollercoaster unbelievably caught a stranger’s phone when he let go of it as they were going around.
We’re still planning to do a three-week US east coast road trip (one day!), so I loved Megan’s guide to the Florida Keys: Where to stay, what to do, see and eat from Key Largo to Key West.
Instagram shockingly rejected Lex’s photo of her bare face for an ad because her rosacea apparently promotes an “undesirable appearance”. I have no words.
These famous old paintings recreated with smiles are hilarious – don’t miss Queen Elizabeth I grinning and the Frida Kahlo self-portrait with teeth on show.
Ratnamurti very interestingly discusses how she used to be grumpy but then learned how to be happy.
Watch the amazing colour changes of an octopus as it’s sleeping: nature at its very best.
No longer synonymous with old-style NHS glasses, transparent eyewear is a big trend I’m loving – Liz explains how to choose and style clear frames.
Hayley’s advice about learning to say no, knowing your worth and placing value on your skill is EXCELLENT.
More culture! If you’ve ever struggled to recognise painters’ works, you need this funny but accurate guide on how to recognise famous painters by their art.
It’s autumn. Mustard is back on my radar. I’m crushing big time on this mustard yellow grab bag* right now.
