Ad | “The Catherine” Reading Glasses : The Influencer Collection

It’s pretty exciting as a blogger to have something named after you, and I’m so pleased to finally be able to show you “The Catherine” reading glasses (you may have seen a sneak preview of them on Instagram).

Five bloggers and I have collaborated with Readers.com to curate the “Influencer Collection” – you might just see a few faces that you know well! We each had a new pair named after us and chose other glasses that we felt were also our style… you can see my choices in the photos below (I especially love the wood-effect ones).

The Catherine comes in four colourways: Green Tortoise/Mint, Purple Tortoise/Yellow (as worn by me here above and below, respectively); also Brown Tortoise/Red and Brown Tortoise/Yellow. I think this is the perfect shape for my face: the low bridge makes my nose a little shorter (read why I like that here) and the slight cat-eye shape shows off my eyebrows. The glasses at Readers.com are so reasonably priced you could treat yourself to several pairs in different colours and styles.

I have written this post in collaboration with Readers.com. All content is original, however, and opinions are my own and 100% honest.

For the photo shoot I went all-out with a preppy bookworm theme – wearing a sweater with the clever collar from CeCe Toppings over the scuba dress cleverly turned it into a skirt. This was a gorgeous outfit with clean lines and crisp, neutral colours. What better way to show off some funky two-tone glasses?

I now have a fabulous collection of reading glasses that I can match to my outfits – do you wear glasses and do you have different pairs to match them to what you’re wearing that day? Do share in the comments!

Above: The other pairs I chose for my collection were: Left: The Journey (love this wood effect), Top right: The Jetsetter (doing my best Kevin Costner in JFK impression in these), Bottom right: The Blythe (hot pink – yessss!)

P.S. If you want to see what the rest of this scuba fabric dress looks like, click here to see it in its full “it’s a dress!” glory.
