8 Redhead Fashion Bloggers You Should Know

After my 8 Incredibly Stylish Fashion Bloggers You Should Know post last month, I realised that there were loads of my favourite bloggers that I just couldn’t fit into one post – it was hard enough choosing just eight. So, a month later, I’ve decided to feature redheads as my next blogger theme. And you guessed it, there’ll be another next month, and the month after that – until I run out of themes. So March is glorious, brilliant bloggers with red hair.

As an (unnatural) redhead myself, I always love to see just how creatively redheads can dress – none of this “no red” nonsense or that they must always wear green. You’ll see from those featured that no-one shys away from pattern, and they wear every colour you can possibly think of. And whether each blogger is a natural redhead or not (I’m not, but I’m known as such, so natural or not it doesn’t matter to me), their hairstyles are all different shades, styles and lengths, and that’s reflected in the diversity of their style too.

There are many other redhead bloggers you can probably think of; I wasn’t going for the obvious [Sea of Shoes for example] as I want to share these particular ladies who I’ve been personally following for a while and think you’d like too. Do check them out, won’t you…

Forever Amber

I’m sure many of you know Amber already – she always looks like she stepped off the set of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. (Funnily enough she was Tippi Hedren in The Birds for Halloween last year.) She’s old school retro but doesn’t dress full-on vintage; you won’t see a single mini skirt but you’ll see the most amazing collection of high heels ever. Don’t miss out on the hilarious stories that accompany her outfit posts: I’m not sure that anyone has ever had such bad luck with clothing disasters. You’ll adore her.

De Lune

I’ve been following Claire for a long time, and I’m always impressed by how totally unique her style is, and how she doesn’t follow every trend going – she genuinely does her own thing. Her wild copper curls are as much a part of her outfit as her fantastic layering and use of interesting textures. She has one of the most interesting Instagram feeds I’ve seen (no clichéd outfit or details shots – you’ll see exactly what I mean), plus her experimental photography is so refreshing and perfectly offsets those NYC backdrops. If you follow this “redheaded weirdo” (her words, not mine), you’ll get something that surprises you every day.

Not Your Average Style Fix

Athina… where do I start? As with all these ladies I adore her hair and I’m always inspired by her variety of hairstyles, but it’s her wardrobe that makes me salivate. I want everything she wears right now, exactly as she wears it. To pick just four photos for this post was nearly impossible – I practically cried at having to discard any. Whether in a patterned two-piece, a flowing maxi or fierce leather, she makes everything look elegant and effortless. This girl has got it going on.

Briar Rose

If ever someone looked like they were a real mermaid living as a human, it’s Megan. With those impossibly long, flame-red waves and that gorgeous face, she doesn’t shy away from baby pinks and reds and just enhances her femininity with ladylike silhouettes and quirky patterns. I’ve met her in person, and she’s every bit as lovely in real life. She truly knows her style and what suits her, and yet her hair never completely steals the show (though it does have a jolly good go).

Fiery Finish

Chrissi has one of the most eclectic styles I’ve come across – sometimes uber feminine, sometimes tomboyish; a big dose of vintage and then something very on-trend. Her hair has recently graduated from a short bob to a pixie crop, and the red just adds to a varied and colourful wardrobe that I love. She’s proof that redheads don’t just have to wear autumnal colours; she’s as wonderful in cobalt as she is in hot pink or black.

Bella & Bear

Another blogger whose wardrobe I’d happily go and steal in the night, Emma is a lifestyle blogger but posts a lot of outfits – and I’m glad because they’re all so gorgeous. She’s devastatingly chic, a layering pro and an expert at unconventional pairings. Her outfits rarely lack several swoon-worthy accessories (I’d love to get my hands on her statement necklace collection, for example), and her hair suits her tall stature beautifully – a classic bob and big sunglasses give her that fantastic “fashion editor” chic.

Plane Pretty

Jenny’s style is probably the most similar to mine – lots of pattern, bright accessories and no preference over skirts or trousers. Her outfits are beautifully accessorised, wearable, great for inspiration and always very feminine. Like me she favours blazers with skinny jeans, a quirky motif or two and dark florals, which set off that flame red hair beautifully.

Venz Edits

As this feature is all about redheads, it makes sense to both start and end with an Amber: Amber Venz is the co-founder of blogger affiliate tool RewardStyle and runs a personal blog as well. Style runs through her veins, and this is all too evident in her fierce, achingly fashion-forward wardrobe choices. On her blog you can see how she’s styled her Valentino Rockstuds and what she’s been wearing on her trips round the world; her outfits are highly individual and I love the soft colours (punctuated with blocks of black) and structured pieces she wears.

I’m sure you’ll agree that these amazing bloggers prove that being a redhead doesn’t restrict your style; the fact that so many girls are dying their hair red these days is proof at how popular flame-haired locks are. They wear every colour under the sun, loads of pattern and all styles from vintage to modern – and everything in between. Please do check them out: whether you’re red yourself or not, you’ll certainly be inspired by their endless creativity.

Look out for the next group of bloggers I’m featuring at the end of next month…!
