15 Unmissable Reads, The Best of the Blogosphere (February 2019)

In my Best of the Blogosphere this month I have celebs’ Photoshopping revealed, baby pandas horseriding*, rainbow bookshelves and more!

(In case you’ve not seen these posts before my Unmissable Reads are a monthly round-up of things I’ve seen, watched and liked in the blogosphere that I’m sure you’ll love too.)

This month I seem to have been drawn to quite a few Instagram videos (maybe because spring is nearly here I just want to watch cute baby animals doing stuff), all things riotously colourful and a lot of chat about where blogging is going in 2019. It’s all fascinating, interesting and hilarious stuff.

Do have a read of these great links – you never know who or what you might discover that makes your day/week/month!

*no pandas were harmed in the making of this video… don’t worry, they’re riding plastic rocking horses : -)

A post proving just how wonderful all the people you know can be when someone has been dealt a rotten blow in life.

Céline Dion is like a real-life Carrie Bradshaw. Except she makes Carrie’s outfits look TAME by comparison, and I love her for it.

Sharon loves the “you smell good” compliments she receives, and she talks about scents of bygone years – there are ones from my own youth I’d almost completely forgotten about.

Samantha wearing neon pink and the coolest pair of dungarees/jumpsuit I have ever seen.

As someone who is so NOT a morning person, I like how Carly discusses how to make more of your morning.

This is one of the FUNNIEST kids-doing-karaoke videos ever. Ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER.

Proof there is NO SUCH THING as Instagram perfection: celebs Photoshop their red carpet photos for their social media feeds (this account cleverly compares the before and afters).

What fashion blogging for 10 years is really like by Kristabel – the difference between 2009 and 2019 is remarkable.

With the rise of social media (particularly Instagram), Lily ponders bloggers’ block and if there’s anything left to actually blog about.

I always forget to do this but it’s such a good idea: Ashley explains why women should consider shopping in the men’s section.

Books arranged by colour always appeal to me, but these stunning rainbow bookshelves are above and beyond.

Nothing changes if nothing changes.” Vicki’s reminder that it’s natural to fear, or feel confused about, change – and it’s okay.

Here’s a real life, by-someone-who’s-naturally-messy-and-did-it-themselves, before and after of a Konmari’d bedroom.

Liz has featured beautiful outfit colour combinations using the colour wheel (my favourite combos are the analogous colours, no great surprise there).

Finally: do you want to see a baby panda riding a plastic rocking horse? Of course you do…
