However these women don’t stop with the beautiful, elegant, imaginative and crazy-in-a-good-way outfits which is GREAT news for the rest of us. This is the second Wednesday of the month so that means my monthly roundup of the women who linked up their outfits to my Tuesday* #iwillwearwhatilike link ups and have now found themselves featured among 9 fabulous women who wear what they like!
* Although over Christmas it wasn’t on a Tuesday every week… the holidays are over now so we’re back to normal service!
Just to briefly explain this feature:
Each month I look at all the thumbnails on my weekly #iwillwearwhatilike link ups and pick my favourites to feature here. I also add three outfits from elsewhere in the blogosphere that have inspired me (a blogger who didn’t link up but I wish had; the blogger with the most inspirational photo shoot, and the blogger with the most jaw-dropping outfit).
These women dress however they like. They dress to express their personality and have an incredible sense of style, whether that’s classic, on-trend, boho, preppy, glam, granny chic, etc. There are NO STYLE RULES. No one has to be ‘trendy’, or wearing the latest styles to be featured. No one has to have that typical LIKEtoKNOWit/Instagram style. No one has to be a particular age. No one has to be a particular shape or size. I’ll simply feature women that have impressed me AND my readers, those that had a high number of clicks on their link, etc.
I’m still looking for more women to join the link up: although I LOVE the fact that there are those that link up regularly, we need more diversity. Please do send a link to this post to anyone you think has great style and is willing to link up on a Tuesday to #iwillwearwhatilike for a chance to be featured in this monthly feature post!
There are plenty of bloggers who do the classic “dump links and run” thing: I won’t be featuring the ones that do that. They won’t be shown here if they give nothing back. It’s only fair – if they link up – that they give a little back to the community and comment on my post and a few others to show support. I also know the ones that constantly link up NON-outfit posts, despite me saying in the post that it’s called #iwillwearwhatilike (they get their thumbnails deleted if it’s not a picture of them wearing an outfit). I started the extra #ShareAllLinkUp on a Thursday where anything can be shared so save the non-outfits for that linky :D.
Without further ado, let’s get straight onto these fabulous women…!
The prettiest of New Year’s Eve outfits from Katie with more than a touch of spring.
The metallic boots! The dark wintery florals! The emerald green of the coat! And all topped off with Sharon’s glorious new pink ‘do. I LOVE IT.
Lisa’s black and white floral dress is elegant, classic and girly all at the same time. I adore the horizontal banding too.
Michelle’s whole outfit is uber chic (AND it has a sequinned top), but what kills me are the red Wonder Woman boots and the rolled hems of the pinstripe trousers alongside that dream of a clutch.
Joi’s outfit brings me A LOT of joy: the stripes and those sexy sleeves are to die for (I also love, love, love the bold statement earrings and matching shoes).
A VERY classy blouse from Laurie which suits her colouring beautifully – bonus points for the perfect coral lip colour and metallic accessories too.

So those were the bloggers that linked up to #iwillwearwhatilike – now I want to share some bloggers who weren’t part of the link up, but whose outfits made me look twice. Each month I’ll pick one for each of these three categories…
HOW has Trina made black and white look so vibrant (in the rain as well!)? She may be petite but the long sweater dress and long coat with boots make her look six feet tall – it’s a really elegant cold-weather outfit. We NEED Trina to link up to #iwillwearwhatilike every week…!
This may look like a Parisienne in Paris but it’s actually an American in New York (I just wish I could say an American in Paris as that sounds the most romantic)! A frilly-sleeved trench, floral dress and a beret combined with a huge architectural arch is the photo shoot of dreams, I say.
The soft watercolour-style pastels, the floaty pleats and the softness of the fabrics are almost dreamlike. Helena tops it off with white accessories and it’s PERFECTION.
I hope you enjoyed January’s round up; if you don’t want to miss any more then make sure you sign up for email updates!
