17 Unmissable Reads, The Best of the Blogosphere (September 2018)

In my Best of the Blogosphere this month I have leopard, leopard, boots for autumn, thoughts on feminism and fashion – and some more leopard!

(In case you’ve not seen these posts before my Unmissable Reads are a monthly round-up of things I’ve seen, watched and liked in the blogosphere that I’m sure you’ll love too.)

This month being September – and a change of season – has obviously got the blogosphere’s fashionistas excited: they’re knocking it out the park with their outfits this month! I’m so inspired at every turn. I’ve also got some mid-century modern design as well as a discussion on and a new way to phrase the term “influencer”. This post could have been a lot longer, but I (sadly) cut it down to just 17 links (it was hard, I can tell you)!

Do have a read of these great links – you never know who or what you might discover that makes your day/week/month!

Kimberly dislikes the term “influencer” – I do too, but could never think of a replacement. But she’s thought of a MUCH better term.

Liz has styled a tailored navy jumpsuit three ways – for work, rest and play – and I now need one in my life stat.

Beautiful rainbow-coloured blobs, drops and squishes covered in spikes are EXACTLY what they sound like.

Annie has reviewed a Fujifilm camera and asks: is this the best blog camera?

Retail giant Nordstrom chose Melanie to be in a major ad campaign – she’s 50-something, fierce and wrote very humbly about the experience (I couldn’t be happier for her)!

Cynthia looks like a goddess in mustard yellow, denim blue and a splash of leopard.

I always look forward to Annette’s annual Bavarian dirndl outfit: she looks as gorgeous as ever this year.

Can feminists can love fashion and beauty? Patti discusses.

If you love leopard, you’ll love Michelle’s maxi-skirt-to-maxi-dress hack.

Why not have a double helping of leopard? Lisa’s in a head-to-toe RED leopard suit. Just divine.

I’ve just discovered the (mostly) restored mid-century home of Post and Beam Living… I have died and gone to mid-century modern heaven.

Sharon’s picked out some incredible boots for autumn: check out those tartan stiletto ankle boots #hearteyesemoji

Her stunning hair, the sharp blazer, the denim flares… I’m dying over Dawn Lucy’s fierce (but wearable) NYFW outfit.

Are you a fan of millennial pink? Then you’ll adore Design Seeds’ pallet of pinks and browns.

Just when you thought the outfits this week couldn’t get any better, up pops Sam with this bold, sparkly colourful party outfit.

On paper, a 90s fall fashion wishlist didn’t appeal to me, but after seeing these fantastic picks I’ve changed my mind.

And finally – 9 tips on how to dress like Victoria Beckham.
