Sharing Behind the Scenes of a Group Photo Shoot

This week I’m sharing a couple of photos from behind the scenes of my group shoot with the Over40Collective,

the pro blogging group of 40+ style bloggers that are set to (cue deep voiceover man voice) take on the worrrrrrld…!

I spent a fabulous weekend with the other girls where we had fun and food, talking endlessly about business and pleasure, ending it with a group photo shoot – these are just a couple of the behind-the-scenes shots taken by the photographer’s assistant.

The final shots are going to be used on our website when we launch in the New Year – though trying to get seven women to all stop talking, pay attention and keep their eyes open all at the same time is a tall order… I have a feeling a little Photoshop to clone some eyes or mouths from another shot might be required.

What I love about that top picture is actually the remnants of the day on the kitchen top at the bottom of the picture: Seven 40+ bloggers means a lot of mobile phones and glasses everywhere, plus the remains of all the demolished croissants. Such great memories.

These six women really are the highlight of my blogging career and each time we meet up it’s never long enough. I can’t wait to get the website officially launched – it’s been a lot of hard work and deliberation BUT it’s never felt like a chore and every single one of them makes all the hard work and lonesome times at home all worthwhile.
