52 Blogging Heroes as Nominated by YOU – Part Two

Last Sunday I published part one of my “52 Blogging Heroes” as part of my Bloggers You Should Know series – this is part two of the bloggers admired by my lovely readers!

These are the ones that inspire, always deliver and help others out whenever they can. I wanted to find some new (to me, and hopefully to you) blogs that were amazing and deserved some credit for the fantastic work they do. I’m so grateful to those of you that took the time to nominate a blogger that you thought deserves some recognition for how inspiring they are.

I split the post into two to stop it getting too long – don’t miss all the blogging heroes in part one. Please check out as many as you can, it’s so great to read the reasons why they are heroes: There are some truly amazing blogs out there!

So here are your blogging heroes, part two, in the order they were nominated in. Let me know who you’re glad to have discovered – do visit them and leave a little comment to say you found them here 🙂

“Lauren has amazing style, makes her own unique pieces, is a nail art wizard and does it all with flare and humor” – Ly H Kerr

The Flaky Fashionista
“Helen blogs about living with psoriasis in a warm and humorous way. She is self-deprecating and very intelligent. Her style of writing and her lovely warm manner drew me in from the start. She’s a real hero of mine” – Liz, What Lizzy Loves

Catwalk Schoolgates
“I nominate Anne Marie Gee, she has taken to blogging full throttle. She is the cool that I am not” – Laurie, Vanity and Me

The Rich Life on a Budget
“I love The Rich Life on a Budget, Adrienne offers a bit of everything and her glimpses of Napa keep tempting me to visit” – Linda, A Labour of Life

Fashion Should Be Fun
“Dawn Lucy is a genuine sweetheart who’s wonderfully generous with her support of fellow bloggers… and her exuberant photos never fail to make me smile” – Monika, Style is My Pudding

Joli House
“I would like to nominate Lily Kate. She is such a lovely young lady who has heaps of talent and personality, and is just as lovely in ‘real life’ as she seems in her blog” – Michelle, Barefaced Chic

Beauty in Insanity
“I adore Keit’s sharp humour and also her generous interaction” – Michelle, Retro Chic Mum

Hannah Gale
“I heart Hannah. I love her style. She writes about everything from fashion to homeware, mental illness to recipes and a dash of travel thrown in for good measure. Fun, sassy and my ultimate blogging role model” – Little Miss Katy

Glam Up Your Lifestyle
“I’d love to nominate a German 50+ blogger, Cla – great clean style and I am so glad I have met her through blogging and we became friends” – Annette, Lady of Style

Swoonworthy
“I nominate Kimberley of Swoonworthy – such an inspirational blog and I love the way she doesn’t beat around the bush!” – Old Fashioned Susie

“I would vote for Kat as her writing is absolutely fantastic and cracks me up. Also I blame her for some of this year’s purchases. She has a great eye for finding some real gems!” – Rachel the Hat

Brenda Kinsel
“Brenda has inspired me for years. First through her book about over 40 style, and then through her blog, her ideas have thoroughly informed my personal style” – Nancy Madlin

Messages on a Napkin
“Marlen has a quirky style I love, she tries adventurous things, she writes well and even though I don’t usually like ‘how to’s with my fashion (because I am usually so out of fashion myself) I find her ‘What to Wear to a …’ segment awesome – it makes me want to go on much more exciting outings” – Charlie, Fur Earwig

Style at a Certain Age
“I nominate Beth Djalali. She is 56 and ROCKS it!! I’m in my early 40s and it’s hard to find a lot of stylish bloggers that are not in their 20s” – Loni

EJ Style
“I nominate Emma Hill, her style is always flawless, her outfits are so wearable and chic plus she’s a really genuinely lovely person and has been so kind and generous to me with her time and blogging help and advice. She inspires me everyday to keep blogging” – Debs, Bang on Style

Lexi & Jones Swim, Run and Write
“Aimed at women in their 40s and up, Lexi and Hilary are fun, realistic and inspiring and there aren’t any scary lycra-clad hard abs. Plus there’s quite a lot about cocktails!” – 75661228

Goodbye Valentino
“My suggested blogger Sarah is a prolific home sewist! As a keen home sewist, may I introduce you to a blog which is fashion-related, for all of us that make some (if not all in some people’s cases) of our clothes” – Marysia

Bag and a Beret
“Canadian Melanie is one tour de force and I adore her blog. Even though her style is completely different to mine, I know every post is going to be worth my time reading. She has such wit and bags of creativity. The sketches she includes in many of her blog posts crack me up. A true artist in many sense of the word” – Petite Silver Vixen

Making It Up
“Jess talks about beauty in a fresh, non-clichéd way and she’s inspired me to make lots of different but helpful purchases” – Victoria Jones

Not Your Average Mom
“Susie Johnson has been making me laugh for a few years now. She has 7 children and offers insights into parenting, marriage, budgeting, exercise tips, and how to feel empowered. Her blog is just the right amount of serious, silly, and sentimental” – Shelbee On The Edge
