In the sun you’re okay but when you’re in shadow or the sun goes behind a cloud it’s freezing. But it seems wrong to wear anything other that springtime brights at this time of year, and I’ve found this lovely combination of mustard polka dots and bubblegum pink offset with some neutrals.
The sheer blazer is years old (worn many times, last seen here with blush pink and here with cobalt) and the were paired with (yet more) pink and yellow at Easter. So one day I’ll wear them with a colour other than yellow, but for now I’m continuing the dressing-like-an-Easter-egg theme throughout the summer.
I did tone it down a little with a and fantastically comfy new from Asos (I love these!) but upped the bling with and a selection of some of the lovely warm-toned and gold jewellery I was kindly given by SENCE Copenhagen. The warm brights of this outfit belie how cold I was here – we Brits live in hope for summer to arrive sometime before Christmas…!
I’m so pleased with my neutral basics I’ve bought for summer – the top and the mules – what basics have you bought recently? If you can recommend anything do share in the comments 🙂
