Stripes, Pinstripes and Plaid | Elvis & Kresse Luxury Bag Giveaway

Not only am I wearing my new favourite combination of pinstripes and plaid, but I’ve thrown in more stripes for good measure with this incredible luxury bag from Elvis & Kresse – and you could win one like it (or another from their range) in my giveaway! You won’t believe the story behind this bag:

Elvis & Kresse are a British company that have been “reclaiming heroic materials ever since we fell in love with London Fire Brigade’s decommissioned fire-hose. After a distinguished career fighting fires and saving lives the hoses were destined for landfill. We started to rescue it in 2005 and never looked back“. In other words this bag – and the other pieces they sell – are all made of recycled fire hoses… how amazing is that?? This is eco fashion at its very finest.

For this giveaway Elvis & Kresse are offering a bag of your choice up to the value of £200 (or a gift card worth that amount*). For myself I chose the bowling bag as it is the only one that includes the ultra rare black fire hose, but I could have quite happily chosen any of the other bags they’ve designed… I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this bag. It genuinely looks like it’s vintage, and because of the materials used each one is unique (I love the fact that mine’s “called” Angus). I decided to style it with my new plaid jacket from Asos and pinstripe trousers, and then threw in some bright white with a roll neck and Adidas Superstar Originals. Result: Yet another new favourite outfit.

• Reclaimed parachute silk is used for the lining of the bags.
• They re-distribute up to 50% of profits to projects and charities related to the unique materials they reclaim. 50% of the profits from their fire hose range are donated to the Fire Fighters Charity.
• The bag has a unique (and addictive) smell due the hoses used which you’ll absolutely love (it reminds me of my childhood toys).
