Yes, you read that right: This was what I was *going* to wear on one of the days of London Fashion Week – but didn’t. My other loan from The House Of Pandora was this vintage 1960s printed shorts and jacket suit, and I absolutely loved it, but shorts (even with tights) and London in February are not a match made in heaven. The outfit also absolutely required heels, so I deliberated for ages about whether to wear it or not and decided it would make me too miserable to be freezing cold and have sore feet, so I very reluctantly forwent this honey of an outfit.
But I decided that shouldn’t stop me showing you how I was going to style it anyway. The suit fitted me like a glove, and I love the buttons and the pattern and the puffy shoulders – all of it, basically. The huge scarf wrapped round my neck was of course for warmth (and it stops the suit looking too smart), and I liked the idea of yellow (the bag) as a perfect contrast to the lilac. The cherry-on-top is the black hair bow in my hair, which is another piece from my Anna Lou of London collection. I’m sure I got the idea from Blair Edie – I’ve wanted a big black bow adorning my bun for ages so I’ll put that one down as Atlantic-Pacific inspiration.
So two weeks after the main event began, my London Fashion Week arsenal is complete. On Monday I’ll have a bit of a “healthy living” review that relates to LFW, so do come back for that. Hope you’ve enjoyed my little fashion week outfits collection… till September, perhaps?! As I’m planning the UK 30-40+ blogger meet up for that month, we’ll have to see 😉
