Adidas Superstar Originals: classic old favourites. I’ve had mine so long I have no idea how old they actually are – I reckon I bought them in the Nineties, people. (The Nineties!! I know people that were born in the Nineties – and somehow they’re not children. How did that happen?!) Instead of jeans I thought I’d go the other way and pair them with smart stuff out of my wardrobe using that contentious-for-some combination – navy and black. Oh, who am I kidding… I just wanted to look like this. There you go – blogger confession right there. Pinterest made me do it, your honour.
But if anything, it made me wear three items of clothing I haven’t worn in ages: the Joules shirt (last seen a year ago), my old black work trousers (that I added elastic into their hems to make into harem pants and last seen here) and of course my Superstar Originals (er, never seen on the blog before?!).
I really should go digging further in my wardrobe for things I’ve not worn in ages (that I still love). Anything you’ve rediscovered recently that’s old but beloved?
Finally… I’m still after votes to win the chance to model the Fever London SS14 collection – you lot are brilliant to keep voting for me every day (till 19th February, only 10 days to go), I am so grateful for all your support! I’m doing well but will only win if you keep voting so I’m relying on you all!! Thank you thank you thank you 🙂
